I've not read comics in forever, but why are there two monthly Deadpool comics right now? Don't get me wrong, Deadpool is an all time favorite Marvel character and I have a majority of the issues from his initial solo full length, before the "death" storyline early in the decade. Has his popularity gone up in recent years and his comics are actually selling now? Because, last I remember, he had a cult following and could barely keep one going. But the comic book economy could have changed for all I know. Again, I've not kept up with comics since 2004 at the latest. Last I checked, Deadpool had more than just 2 monthlies. I remember all of the following being monthlies: - Deadpool - Deadpool: Merc With a Mouth - Deadpool Corps - Deadpool Team-Up Granted I haven't been in a comic shop in about two months, so they might have ended MWaM.

Merc with a Mouth ended with issue 13 probably like 4 or 5 months ago.
And Wolverine is getting a 2nd ongoing next month, "Wolverine: The Best there Is". I am excited for it since Juan Jose Ryp, who has done a lot of siiiiick art over at Avatar Press is handling the art on it.

So they want to whittle the Deadpool output to just two monthlies.

Nope, because Deadpool Max is out. ....If they were going to cut a series to keep it down to 3 Deadpool monthlies, why make a new series? Because David writes a great Wade around as far as the current writers go (Fabes and Kelly are the true Pool talent crew)? And this had the MAX thing going for it? Or because they never make no sense.

And to throw it out there, the mini "Deadpool Pulp" has been pretty fun.

There's also "Lady Deadpool". I have the first one, i'm not sure if they've made more.

"Corps" is the only Deadpool title I'm not buying at the moment. As far as the other titles go, I can't really stand Way's take on the character, but it's his main title so I feel obligated to support it. Hopefully it gets better... eventually. I just want Joe Kelly back.
As for "Team-Up", I personally love it. The Hercules and Captain Britain issues were particularly hilarious. I'd be sad to see it go.

Corps, I love Team Up
But since I seem to have developed some sort of immunity to this "overexposure" thing that the rest of the internet is always so up in arms about, I really don't want to see any of them cancelled. When I was employed I was getting everything Deadpool coming out because I simply love the character and hate reactionary dislike of characters.

Another series that just finished was "Wade Wilsons War" which I really liked. Especially the last one.

I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!!!! THE VOTE WAS FIXED!!!!!!!!!!
My favorite ongoing series, Deadpool Team-Up is now cancelled. The solicits for March released a couple minutes ago list that month's DT-U as the final issue of the series.....and it sounds like a damn good one

the Thor issue last month is one of the funniest comics I've read in a long time.
