And those of us in North and Central America will have the best seats in the house, though it'll be taking place in the wee morning hours for those of us on the East Coast. So who's watching?

shadowandsubstance.com/It shows the best time for time zones. Eastern time would be 2:41-3:53. I'll try to watch it. They say it's rare.

I won't be watching it, mostly because I'm sick and I don't think anyone will be able to drag me out of bed and outside tonight. I'm sure my dad will be watching it, though, unless his job gets in the way. He loves that kinda stuff.

It's relatively early here, but the fog will probably make it so I can't see anything. I'll try, at least.

I'm up, but it's overcast. I got nothing. SHame because this is a once-in-a-328-year occasion when a lunar eclipse coincides with the winter solstice. Useless fact for you and yours.

My mom and I just went outside to find the moon...
So much fog that we couldn't see shit. The moon was just a vague bright spot under the clouds. We both broke into laughter and went back inside. Gotta love living in the bay.

Fun fact: In addition to the rarity of winter soltice aligning with a total lunar eclipse, it is a well-known fact that those two plus Tim and Eric's Chrimbus Special occuring on the same night happens only once every 4 larpcenturiads.
