I hate these kind of games, because they never wake up. The Bruins either start the game on fire, or don't give one f***ing rats ass the entire game. You can't do a single thing to get them interested at that point. They're so goddamn lazy sometimes. They better at least do....SOMETHING next period. A fight, a shot on goal, whatever. Let's hope it's not a preview of their upcoming playoff run.

Just because I'm curious, is anybody here or does anybody know a fan of the Florida Panthers? I don't think I've ever met one in my life.

That's just awful. Have more respect for the Beezer. [/Sarcasm]

So Conklin starts and the Blues still pitch a shutout. 9-1-2 through 12 games...good for the best record in the NHL. Only 18 goals allowed.
I figured they'd be a lot better, but I never pictured this.

They keep this up and they can be one hell of a playoff team, especially if Halak does what he did last year. The Habs are starting to slip....so back to reality I guess.

Yay my Oilers finally overcame the Ex Oiler curse which led us to lose the past two games. When Pisani scored his goal in the first period it looked like all hope is gone but we rebounded back and won! See you on Tuesday Carolina!

It's a curse I tell you! How else can Raffi Torres make a hat trick?! It's certainly rare but possible for Dan Clearly to record three points in a game but soon after the Raffi Torres hat trick?! Coincidence I think not! Then after Pisani scores a goal?! Soon after against the Oilers. It was a curse that Sam Gagner had to break! Well I know for sure that my Oilers will walk away with four points for sure from this five game road trip because I know we will get collect those two points for sure this Friday

Dreger: NHL Considering Full-Scale Overhaul of All-Star GameThe talkback is filled with people and their own bad ideas. The worst of which is winning conference gets home ice advantage in the Cup Finals. So you'd take the already pretty meaningless regular season and render it pointless by punishing a team who may have had one representative at the All Star Game and lost home ice advantage because a group of stars lost a pond hockey game. Fans think this is a brilliant idea because it will make the game mean something because everyone will try real hard to win it on the slim chance their actual team makes the Finals.

Winning Conference gets home-ice advantage? Meh. Probably the only way you could make it a great game is if you put in a rule that said the losing Conference players (in the All-Star Game itself) forfeit their salary for the season if they lose. That would never fly, so I think we're stuck. I'd rather they cancel it and have another outdoor game (teams chosen by fan voting). I don't want the All-Star game dictating anything about the playoffs.
