I'm saying it right now, 2011 is going to be the best year in gaming ever. Yes, even better than the fabled years of 1998 and 2007.

I still have a gut feeling that many of those games will be purposely delayed to be released on 2012 to avoid competition. I kind of hope so as well because well games cost money. But even with that it probably will still be the best year ever for games. Edit: I also forgot Assassins Creed 3 which is rumored for 2011.

Well at first I was going to say, "If none of those games are delayed until 2012, 2011 will be the best year in gaming history to date.", then I looked over the list again and realized that even if HALF of that list was pushed into 2012, 2011 would still be the best year in gaming history to date. That's how strong the line up is. But, I kinda DO hope some of the games are delayed, because we still have a crap economy, people don't have the money to go buy all these games, so, sadly, some of these amazing games might, in all honesty, bomb if all of these games come out in 2011, because you know many of them will be sharing the same release day.

Is it wrong that the only game in that entire list to pique my interest at all is Arkham City? MK slightly, but besides that, nothing I really give two shits about?

To be fair, that may have to do with 2 major things.
1. Most of these are sequels to games I haven't played yet. I played through Arkham Asylum, which is why Arkham City interests me.
2. I've been massively burned out of recent gen stuff fot years, which is mostly why I stick to retro systems like the Nes and SNES. doesn't mean I don't use my 360, but I'm definitely not into this gen as I was the ones prior.

Oh, uh, by the way, Metal Gear Solid Rising isn't a 2011 title. It is coming in 2012.

Oh, uh, by the way, Metal Gear Solid Rising isn't a 2011 title. It is coming in 2012. Ya I figured but I put it down anyways just because it was on the wikipedia list of games coming out in 2011. Then again I purposely omitted Diablo 3 from 2011 on that list because Blizzard is just Blizzard. I do have a sad gut feeling that Activision may pressure Blizzard to release Diablo 3 this season since there doesn't seem to be a big Call of Duty game to be released this year. Well other then that rumored third person COD game that takes place in space in the far future.

Somebody forgot to include Professor Layton vs. Gyakuten Saiban and The Last Guardian, Team ICO's new project. Though you did mention the 3DS, which Layton vs. Gyakuten's going to be on.
If Dragon Quest VI DS and Xenoblade make it over here, I'll be happy. The Last Story too, it looks pretty good. I'm also hoping Sting's next Dept. Heaven game comes out sometime next year (they gave it a late 2010 release goal when they announced it, but that's done now).
Also, I think I spotted two original IPs from SuperSweet's list. That makes me pretty sad.

2011 will only matter to me if they actually release TimeSplitters 4. Then I will die a happy man. Anyone with me?

Okamiden is missing from the list
The last guardian is the game I'm looking forward to most although I expect it'll be delayed until early 2012. If animal crossing on the 3DS is released in 2011 (and Nintendo aren't lazy again) that would be top of my list but I doubt I'll own a 3DS until it's second model is released.
Good to see Duke 'Nukem forever on the list with a good chance of it actually being released.

The Last Guardian, Team ICO's new project. Not to mention the HD compilation of ICO/Shadow of the Colossus that comes out in April.

I would cry like a little girl if EA Sports developed Move controls for NHL 12.

Arkham City, Skyward Sword, and assorted 3DS games are the only ones of those I'm remotely interested in.
