I dunno, ever since the episode where Morgan turned face I have been enjoying impact.
There seems to be some good stuff going on like Morgan going against immortal/fortune, Jarretts MMA gimmick, the knockouts getting more focus again (not just the beautiful people), MCMGs and gen me. Even the Team 3d split has been far more interesting than I thought it would be.
I'm liking impact, it's not awesome, but it is pretty good, and a lot better than it has been this year.

Its not just you, but its not me and a lot of other people.
I'd say its basically the same number of people it has been since 2007

You asked, "Is it just me or has iMPACT been really good?" I was just saying that its not just you, but the same number of people it always has been using the logic that if you think a show is good - you'll watch it and vice versa.

You mean Bischoff and Hogan's plan is actually working? *gasp*
I think TNA is a little better right now than it has been in recent years. I still don't know if I would call it "good" though. "Tolerable" is a better descriptive word that I would use for now. That's an adjective you couldn't always use when describing Impact.

No the same number of people have been watching, but not everyone watches it enjoys the show. Some people watch because they will watch anything wrestling related, some watch in the hope it will get better, some might watch it just to criticize it. I don't know if you were trying to be smarmy or funny, but god help us if we can't just have a positve thread in this forum for once.

That's a fair point, a lot of people do watch the show even if they don't like it. I didn't take that into consideration. Who says this thread still isn't positve? God help us if someone can't post a simple fact without being accused of being negative.

I've given up watching for good, but still check on the board to see if anything worth checking out comes up. I did watch the empty arena match which was excellent, but everything else still sounds pretty awful.

First few weeks they made Immortal too NWO-ish I think they have maybe realized it and toned them back a little. Pushing Jeff is ok since he's the world champ AND his recent heel turn, but guys like Morgan, Pope, and even Joe have not been shown as week latlely as in the beginning.
As long as there is balance and it doesn't turn into "The Super Cool Heel Show" it could get better.
Even Dixie's little legal maneuver last night was a change of pace.

It hasn't been good. It's just been better than it was in October and early November. It's a case of smelling crap for so long that barf smells good.

It not just you my friend, don't let these Negative Nancys spoil your enjoyment. MMA Jarrett is just awesome in a can. The Pope has been getting himself to shine and really coming out as a mic man. We got Flair delivering his best promos yet.

Never understood that mindset. If you like something, awesome. How is someone not liking it affecting that either way?
And while I voiced a negative opinion, if this was supposed to be an appreciation thread, I apologize; but I was answering the question posed by the title.

It's better than it has been, but I'd still hesitate to call it "good." It's watchable, at least.

Look at the next PPV card.
Morgan/Hardy Joe/Jarrett MCMG/Gen-Me Pope/Abyss Styles/Williams RVD/Rhino Lethal/Robbie E Beer Money/Inc Ink. Mickie/Tara
The only "big names" on the card are Hardy, RVD, and I guess Jarrett. Everyone else, outside of Rhino who looks to be taking RVD's time before the inevitable Hardy/RVD showdown, is on the younger side, whether they are TNA originals or guys brought in and repackaged. This is exactly what people wanted, right? Pushing the "younger" guys? Not that I care personally, but everyone seemed to hate that guys were pushed aside, but every single one of the matches on the next PPV have a backstory and has had time devoted to it on TV.
I don't know what it is going to take to get more people, especially on this forum, to like Impact.

If some people enjoyed the recent Impact, good. And if some people don't like them, also good.

If some people enjoyed the recent Impact, good. And if some people don't like them, also good. I wouldn't go all out and say "good" now, ;D. They do seem to be trying to tone back things on the heels tho. If they truly commit to making Pope, Morgan, and Joe legitimate threats to Fourmortal, then it could be watchable.

Look at the next PPV card. Morgan/Hardy Joe/Jarrett MCMG/Gen-Me Pope/Abyss Styles/Williams RVD/Rhino Lethal/Robbie E Beer Money/Inc Ink. Mickie/Tara 4 Things: 1. I actually watched and enoyed most of Impact last thursday, a rarity since I ususally don't even watch. 2. That card looks a little.......bloated for lack of a better term right of the top of my head. You've got 9 matches, with Presumably 4 of them as title matches (Morgan/Hardy, Styles/Williams, MCMG/Gen-Me, Lethal/Robbie E). I realize that Impact has more skits/vignettes, but it didn't have but half as many matches as this entire card in the same span of 2 hours. 3. Keep with simple booking (No out of character swerves, solid matches and finishes, no Shoot/Work BS) and this looks like a solid card 4. MMA Jarrett is awesome.....it's the right combination of Wrestling Goofy with a shot of some realism.
