I am definitely a little late to the party, but I just finished season one of this show, and have to say, I am a fan. I think it's a fantastic light rendition of Batman. I for one, am tired of every super hero being dark and brooding, even Batman. I really love this show, and I think it's a great balance of comedy and action. I appreciate it for what it is, a silly super hero beat 'em up show. So, consider this thread an appreciation thread for this fantastic show. I'd love to hear what you all think of it. Like it, hate it?

The game on the Wii is also great. Just like the show in its humor, and, of course, is a classic side scrolling beat 'em up.

I would like more shows to go the Avatar route, and have a set end point, no matter what.

I truly enjoy this show, although I need to get back into watching it. I do have the game on Gamefly, but I'm checking out Raiden IV and....5th grader for the 360. Yeah, it's for GSG purposes. But, I need to check out the new Batman Game.

Batman: The Brave and the Bold is my favorite animated version of Batman. The show is always introducing new characters from the DC Universe that don't get much TV time, and the storylines are always pretty good. As for it be lite-hearted, I sort of disagree. There have been a few episodes that dealt with characters dying, such as Ted Kord (the first Blue Beetle), an entire episode dedicated to the death of the Wayne's, an episode where the Joker kills Batman multiple times on screen, and even an episode that shows the death of Bruce Wayne in the future.

Won't be campy, though ... Anyway, I never thought I'd see a show where Batman ate nachos and was a slacker, but it's a great show. And I like the fact that they use a lot of B list characters that you wouldn't see in other shows anymore.

To be fair, the episode where Joker kills Batman over and over was for laughs. Yes he was killing Batman over and over, but they were humorous deaths, and thus, was a joke.

The Chill of the Night episode may be the greatest thing i've ever seen
Adam West as Thomas Wayne was to awesome
plus Aquamans Outrageous family vacation is one of the funniest episodes ever
love the show because it can be super fun and kid orientated as well as take the serious tone when needed plus it introduces kids to a bunch of characters theyve never heard of before

Plus NPH as the Music Maister is one of the greatest things in the history of the universe. That's my favorite episode of season one. I thought it was incredibly well done.

The show's pretty hit and miss with me. Definitely episodes I like, but I wouldn't call myself a huge fan of the show.

I've only seen a few episodes, but I've liked what I've seen. Any show that gives Plastic Man a spotlight gets a thumbs up from me.
However, I am glad to see some Teen Titans fans. Such a great show. I still need to pick up Seasons 4 and 5 on DVD, though.
