Metal gets them, hip-hop gets them, so here's another type. Old-school, current, whatever.
I guess I'll start with this:

I was waiting for this! I just got "New Amerykah Part II" so I'll listen to it in full and hopefully write a review soon.

Here's a video for everyone: this happens to be one of three versions of "You Are Everything," this one by the Stylistics.
Here's a cover of an Isley Brothers song, courtesy of the late Aaliyah.

I was going to do a review, but I changed my mind. Out of 10, I'd rate it an 8.5. If you enjoyed Baduizm, you'll enjoy this one. Another song I'll put up is "Love, Need and Want You" by Patti Labelle from her album "I'm In Love Again."

Here's "Sweet Thing," the original by Rufus and Chaka Khan and the cover by Mary J. Blige. Which version do you prefer?

Here's "Sweet Thing," the original by Rufus and Chaka Khan and the cover by Mary J. Blige. Which version do you prefer? I don't have a preference. I love the slow draggin' basement party vibe of the original. I love the clean and live sounding vibe of MJB's remake. I also like both singers' voices.

Keith Washington, who should have gotten bigger past this one song, IMO.

I've been listening to a lot of Quincy Jones lately and here's "Summer In the City" from "You've Got It bad Girl" which was released in 1973.

Here is "Killing Me Softly With His Song," one version by Roberta Flack and the other by The Fugees, with Lauryn Hill handling the vocals.
