Seems obvious but "We Didn't Start the Fire" will kick ass on the mic and should be a party favorite. Seconded to the nth degree.

In addition to this, there's talks of a "6 Piano Challenge Pack" (some wonder if it's only Billy Joel, in addition to the 12 aforementioned tracks, or other piano songs "of challenge") coming out in Spring 2011.

Pressure is going to be so fun to play! I say more Billy Joel! And give us Elton John, Ben Folds (solo and Five) and They Might Be Giants DLC please!

Early reviews for RB3 are good...REAL good: Joystiq: 5 stars out of 5. Game Informer: 9.25 out of 10.

Gave in and decided to pre-order the wireless keyboard. Amazon says Wednesday but since I'm close to their Virginia Center I may get it the same day I get the game (Tuesday.)

RockBandAide.com lists that the key code to transfer "the vaset majority" of songs from Rock Band 2 to 3 will cost either 800 funbucks or $9.99...
Now... we may have to wait for Tuesday to figure out what those "minorities" are...
The rumors are "Battery" by Metallica (no loss, I could easily beat the song on Expert Drums, I just hated the damn song!), "Give It Away" and "Dani California" by Red Hot Chili Peppers (uh... guys... isn't that a Rock Band 1 song?), "Spoonman" and "Black Hole Sun" (I hope not... on BOTH!)
...in the case of Dani California and Black Hole Sun, that comes from demos where people stated that the songs weren't listed. I hope that's not the case for RB3...

Amazon is saying that my keyboard is already being prepped for shipment. That was oddly quick.

So the Stratocaster that can double as a real guitar won't be out at the initial launch? All I have seen is the (if I remember right) Jaguar and the regular strum bar/5 button guitars.

Sorry to triple post but...HAPPY ROCK BAND 3 DAY!
Game and keyboard hasn't arrived yet unfortunately (which is weird cause everything is on schedule and I usually get UPS delivers to the residence hall around this time.)

Game and keyboard hasn't arrived yet unfortunately (which is weird cause everything is on schedule and I usually get UPS delivers to the residence hall around this time.) Bud, it's too bad that you've switched over to the PS3. I am still looking for crappers to start a band with (I'm Expert drums, and with the cymbal expansion pack released a while ago, I've used the cosmetic cymbals for quite a while, so I'm probably already Pro-Expert ready) and I'm going to start with Pro-Mode keys. Probably won't be getting the Pro Guitar until... I don't know, a while from now. I'm still shocked at how, across the board, GREAT the reviews have been. I've yet to see less than a 9. Oh well, until I can get the money and time, I'm sticking with Fable 3. That should be arriving at my apartment any moment, and once I finish this final class, I'm Fable 3-ing it up for the remainder of the day.

In fact, according to their overall score ratings, the series gets worse with every release lol (9.4, 9, 8.5)

Still... YOU ARE ON THE WRONG DARN SYSTEM FOR ROCK BAND-ING!!! Hope you enjoy the game. Give me a heads up on how you like it.
