Yeah............April O'Neil was the first woman I found attractive......and yet because I didnt understand those feelings (I was pretty young), I didnt know what the hell was going on.

Also helped that April's coworker was the most screamingly gay man ever on a kid's tv series, so you knew there was a chance for you.
Seriously, TMNT actually holds up pretty well. I still have the VHSs in the garage and will probably upgrade to the DVDs in the not-too-distant future. Nice job by the NC, was a nice call back to the earlier reviews on the site.

Obviously The whole concept seems really silly now.
But f*** it i still think it's a great show. Much better than later remakes anyway.

When Shredder said "I want to conquer Earth!", I totally thought that there was a Rita Repulsa joke coming. NC missed the mark on that, but still, a very good review.
Glad SyFy is now known as "That Wrestling Channel" according to the Critic.

Loved it loved it loved it. The guy knows his stuff, the 80's was a violent time. It was as dangerious to be female rock star as it was a crime fighting mutant turtle. (see the show JEM which I hope the NC reviews someday), and everything exploded like a Good Year tire. And people acted indifferent to terriest attacks, as good times.
As for Vernom, check out the episode when Shredder turns the humans into children, what Vernom does is hillarous.
