I'm slowly getting back watching the Simpsons (for getting Seasons 6 and 7 for X-mas). From the episodes that I remember that suck so badly was the Treehouse of Horror with the Killer Dolphins.

Lisa the Drama Queen. Unquestionably the worst Simpsons episode I have ever seen. Not one laugh, and Lisa's friend was creepy and weird. The lesbian undertones also freaked me out. Not one redeeming quality. Ok...... It was (BADLY/Loosely) based around the Movie Heavenly Creatures which in turn was based on an ACTUAL Murder. The movie itself is head-y, surreal, and the "undertones" of the Simpson's episode are blatant OVERtones in the film. The movie didn't NEED the parody/homage/Abomination that Lisa the Drama Queen was. Anyone that had seen the movie was more than likely offended by the flippant nature given the source material, and anyone that hadn't was probably more than a little off-put by the sheer randomness of doing an homage to such an odd (and frankly rather obscure) film with two 8 year olds and at the time 15(!?) years after the fact.

i never really liked the one where Homer gets hair in season 2....I just kinda felt that episode dragged on with no real laugh's through it except for the end with the "my mother told me to never kiss a fool"
i also never liked the Mr. Burns runs for Gov. episode either..

Plus, something that is actually worse than "Rover Hendrix": I got a few more, but I wanna hear your choices. I don't see how it's that bad. It reminds me of this from season 3

Basically every Lisa Simpson themed episode from season 11 and beyond. You know what....At least Family Guy admits it doesn't know how to realistically write for it's young female characters. The Simpsons writers seems to just plug her in as a mouthpiece for whatever "Liberal" cause that they decide to stick it to every 3 months or so and then let the show run on auto-pilot where she either learns 1 of 2 "Stock Lessons" 1. The world is more complicated than "Us Vs Them" 2. Humanity will never change.....but do your part She never seems to get the lesson of "You're 8 f***ing years old! BE A f***ING KID and let the adults worry about the big problems!"

The one where they go to China, that was painful.
Unlike old Grimey who was brilliant.

That 90's Show and Boys Of Bummer are possibly my two least favorite episodes in the show's entire run.

Israel. Probably the only one I didn't like.
Also I vaguely remember Lisa the Beauty Queen(I think, the one where she wins a tobbacco kids pageant) being pretty bad, but they never air it.

Why I came into this thread in the first place. This is easily my least favorite episode from the "golden age"(or I guess would yellow age be more appropriate?). Whenever I am going through season 4, when episode 4(this one) rolls around, I actually have to mull it over in my head whether or not I'm going to watch it or not. Most times, I do not. Which sucks, because the non-Lisa characters are doing decent enough stuff the carry the periphery, but the main plot drags the episode down so much that I just don't enjoy any of it.

Did anyone say the Ricky Gervais episode yet? That was truly awful, a painful vanity project for Gervais's ego.

I really hate the Spinoff Showcase. First episode of the Simpsons that I hated with a passion. I didn't like this one either. One thing I noticed is that some people dislike the Treehouse of Horror episodes. My cousin (who is a Simpsons fan) says this, and I have to disagree. For the most part, I enjoy the Treehouse of Horror episodes. I especially liked the one where Homer was on trial for his soul. For any season after 2002, I can't even comment since I have stopped watching the crap. I have seasons 1-8 on DVD though. There aren't too many I dislike. I suppose the Fear of Flying" one with Marge didn't wow me, but most of them I dig.
