Joe Webb will start at quarterback for the Vikings at Philadelphia in Tuesday's Week 16 contest.
Bills placed OG Cord Howard (shoulder) on injured reserve, ending his season.
After talking to sources close to the situation and around the league, NFL Network's Jason LaCanfora "senses" that Hall of Famer John Elway will return to the Broncos organization in a prominent front-office role.
"He's coming in with a bang," said LaCanfora, "with a voice, a decision-making prowess, and someone who could maybe even settle ties between the football side and the coaching side." LaCanfora further suggests that long-time teammate (and former backup to Elway in Denver) Gary Kubiak would be a "natural" for head coach if he's fired by Houston.
Dolphins waived WR Kevin Curtis

According to Arrelious Benn's Twitter page, the rookie receiver's year-ending injury is a torn left ACL.
The Minneapolis Star-Tribune's Judd Zulgad believes Brett Favre will try to pass his concussion test and play in the Week 17 finale at Detroit.

I know it will be said ad nauseum by others, but Aaron Rodgers really needs to be on that team. And I know that no one cares about the Pro Bowl, but if you aren't going to make an effort to include the best players, then the game serves no purpose.

This makes it sound like he's trying to take an exam in college or something. You can't try to pass it. You can't will yourself to pass a concussion test. You either do or don't.

There shouldn't even be 2 Cowboys on the NFC team, much less five(!). I also don't think Shaun O'Hara should be in as even a backup center since he missed almost half the season. If you had to put a Giants player in as a Center, I think Seubert did a better job of it. And despite their spectacularly bad game against the Packers and the mid-4th collapse against the Eagles, there should be more Giants D-Men on the team besides Tuck and Rolle.

Well with only 3 QB spots open, who do you take out for Roger's place? Can't be Vick. He's a co-MVP canidate. I guess you could take out either Brees or Ryan, but then people would just complain about one of them being kept out. It sucks for Rogers because he deserves to go, but not every can go. Chances are that he's the alternate anyway.

Rodgers will end up there in the end, like 67 QB's made the pro bowl for the AFC last year.

Balimore has the most players from a team on the AFC squad with 5? Nice!

Oh, looking at the QB's selected for the Pro Bowl, I have no problems with them. Rodgers is really good, but I would say Vick, Brees, and Ryan are all better.

I thought they put them in the order based on how many players made the pro bowl. But they just did it by letter. 2nd place is still nice in this case though.

The Eagles need to wake the hell up. They should be trying to put the Vikings out early and get Vick and the others out of the game.
