I don't dare watch the last two tests... Same old England. Are you still not gonna watch now, with Australia all out for 98 on the first day? At the start I thought it was going to be a terrible day for England with Watson being dropped twice but obviously not. Good toss for Strauss to win.

The has to rank as one of the strangest Ashes series in history. I mean, what the hell is going on in Australia?!
Absolutely psyched that Tremlett and now Bresnan are going great guns too as they're two of my favourite players. What a selection dilemma when everybody is fit though! Anderson, Broad, Finn, Tremlett and Bresnan all taking wickets in great form. Shazad has all the potential in the world too. I just wish there was a spinner pushing Swann too.

Phil Hughes being picked and showing no improvement against short bowling, especially from the height of Tremlett (who is fast becoming my second favourite English player after Swanny) Ricky Ponting continuing to fail miserable with the bat and lets face it, still making some very odd decisions (WACA Test, the bodyline stuff at Bell and Prior) Michael Clarke going back to his old ways of making a start and getting out cheaply. Hilfenhaus despite probably being our most consistent and dangerous bowler this whole series, he is really lacking strike power.

Australia have hit rock bottom here. Even as an Australian, I think there is no way they deserve to win the series on the back of an innings like that.

Every Australian I know of is waving the white flag... except Kellie Skater. The Rate Tank won't accept she's dead, even when her head and all her limbs have been ripped off.

England are 4 wickets away from retaining the Ashes in Australia for the first time since 1987.

To paraphrase Mike Goldberg, "IT IS ALL OVER!"
England retain The Ashes. In Australia.

Ponting, admit it. You're not good enough.
Feels glorious to retain it there. Now to win the series in Sydney.

Man it certainly is a great time to be an England fan now. I remember when I was a kid and England were just a laughing stock. Watching the cricket last night was just surreal England aren't supposed to be good at anything!
Now this team hopefully has the potential to be the World's best. We are already 20/20 World Champions of course.

Yeah, Australia deserved to lose that series. Looking at England over the past year and nearly everything they did was in preparation for the Ashes. They clearly respected the opposition while we didn't.
The Selection Board for Australia also needs to be sacked. Too set in their selections and they seem to refuse to even take a look at a Victorian player. Victoria has the strongest state side but, and here is something truly depressing, Mike Hussey was unable to even get a sniff of a selection until he moved to Western Australia and they are talking about Siddle being lucky to have even made the team when he actually had a reasonable series.

Ahh, after we retained, I felt a lot better about what happened in Perth lol. But now, I'm ecstatic! Although, I'm somewhat ambivalent, I sure am going to miss a certain fantastic fielder, and the hero of our side many a time. Godspeed, Paul Collingwood (from test matches anyway). At least he's still in the ODI side

Australia prob only had four good players the entire series hussey Watson haddin and siddle. Why they didn't plat hauritz I will never know and poor old bollinger still had his side strain. The worse stat to come out of this entire series
Siddle averaged and scored more then ponting and almost had Clarke
