I'd prefer you lose another game so the Mavs can move into 1st! Pesky 1/2 game! Or maybe I just have to wait for the Mavs to beat the Spurs again for another loss. Nah, I'd prefer you two teams lose 4/5 more games so the Lakers can move back to 1st...that is when they put their act together. As a fellow Lakers fan, I'm with you completely.

This sounds like something out of a comedy, except it's real...so it's kinda sad.

Carmelo Anthony denied that he gave an ultimatum to Denver management that he would only sign an extension with the Knicks, which would have heavily decreased his trade value.
Regardless of his denial, the Knicks will be less inclined to sweeten the deal if they believe he wants to land in N.Y, which ultimately helps Melo down the road if he's a Knick. Melo's management of the press this year has been impressive, designed both to insulate him from a LeBron-like disaster while nudging both the Nuggets and Knicks to a place where a deal can be made under the current CBA. Unless, of course, you believe there's a chance he wears a Nets or Nuggets jersey.

so, Miami over NOLA.
32 on 13 FG attempts for Wade. 14-17 from the stripe, 2-3 from distance. And I swear it wasn't more than a few days ago someone was saying he wasn't an efficient scorer....

Pretty sure Bron is still cool with his choice. Wade and Bosh are sliiiiiiiightly more reliable back up than Mo Williams. Here is the Heat's remaining schedule heading to LA on Christmas: -Cleveland (lol round 2) -@new York -@washington -Dallas - Phoenix It isn't out of the realm of possibility they could sweep that run with the roll they're on right now. Realistically, 4-1 is probably more likely. That Knick game and Maverick game will be fun to watch. Would love for them to run straight through to LA though. Would make that game so much more exciting.

The Bulls bring the streak up to 6 with a 19-point win over the sCrappy second-place Pacers. That second place thing only lasts as long as the health of T.J. Ford's puny little rag doll body. Boozer put up 22 and 18 effortlessly on Roy Hibbert et al, while Rose's 17 and 12 was marred by Rush being a bitch and sliding under him while he was airborne, forcing him to land hard on a wrist. Rose is questionable for the Toronto game on Wednesday, which means another possible John Lucas sighting [oh zod...] Bulls have held their last three opponents to season-low point totals (LAL, MIN and IND).
This should be fun. The division sucks, which should allow them to make a push for the second seed.

The Mavs' 12-game winning streak comes to an end at the hands of the Milwaukee Bucks. After watching this, all I can say is, WTF? Dallas couldn't get a handle on Bogut or Jennings. Bad loss. Point Spurs. And yeah, I think Bron is happy with his choice. The only thing worse for Clevelnd than him leaving is his previous "supporting cast" crapping the bed with startling regularity. It's the final validation to his last two MVP awards.

This guy needs to leave if the Clippers ever want to be good. It's the Christmas present Clippers fans and David Stern want. Come on Sterling, just sell the team to David Geffen. That makes the Clippers ownership even worse. Sterling doesn't do a f***ing thing with the Clippers, and Geffen wants to buy them. Yep, a guy who's a media mogul, will attract big time players, and spend money on the team wants to buy them, but Sterling won't do it. The Clippers make money with Sterling as the owner, think of the money they'd make with someone like Geffen as owner.

Heat are on a nice run, but as far as the big picture goes nothing has changed. They still have no PG, no C, and no bench. They have almost no shot at the title this year.

Not sure if anyone actually expects them to win it all this year. But the big picture has changed. Condolences. I said, don't doubt Pat Riley. The results are evident. The statistical evidence is overwhelming. If you think it means nothing, you're not paying attention.

Pretty awesome little stat for Thunder fans:
johnschuhmann Russell Westbrook leads league w/ 100 pts scored in "clutch" situations (<= 6 pts, <=5 min). No other player has more than 67 (Kobe).
