Just amazing. I've only seen the first Neverending Story, but that was just amazingly bad! Ha ha! Critic, you are a stronger man than I.

I really wish I forgot about this turd of a film, I have bad memories of it, am crying like the NC was at the start. By the way, the janitor at the first part kinda looks like Chuck Palumbo. THANK YOU! I knew he reminded me of somebody, but I just couldn't put a name on it. Definitely one of the funniest reviews in a long time, and the ending was insane. I wonder how insane Ferngully 2's gonna make him next week? Hell, I reviewed that drek, I pity him. Maybe he'll have the Nostalgia Chick by his side to support him again?

I've seen that movie in a theatre back then and even when i was just 9 years old i thought it sucked, it's horrible, i've seen the first one before and even though it never comes close to the book it was a good movie, the second one was boring and that bird-thing was annoying as hell but the third movie....it was bad, it's really one of the worst movies ever madem it sucks so much it's painful to watch

If this review is any indication on how the rest of the month is going to go, I think we're in for a real treat. And I thought I knew the sister from somewhere. Honestly, I kind of love "Camp Nowhere". I do too. Underated little movie from the early 90s that is worth taking a look at if interested. You'd be AMAZED who all is in that movie.

Honestly, I think this is one of his lesser reviews. Even the ending was bad. Way too forced.
I'm beginning to to really tire of NC and all the other internet reviewers, such as Spoony, AVGN, Linkara, etc. They're doing the exact same thing as they did back in 2008. Nothing has changed. It's becoming more and more clear to me that most of these guys are nothing but a one trick pony and their trick isn't all that exciting anymore. And I really want the NC to be good, cause when he does something good, he usually does it VERY good. He CAN be very entertaining, but his work has declined over the last year or so and his act has gotten very stale.
It's like WCW in 1998/1999.

Oh man, the 'sequel month' title card crude drawing with accompanying crappy music had me in stitches for ages.

I'll honestly say be fair to AVGN, who has been around since 2006 and has actually done things more to shake himself up as in doing different videos on good games and how hard they are and not doing a weekly video as others do to keep himself fresh and so people actually look forward to him rather than speed through and hope it still stays. Besides that, I'll agree except I'll say that most of these guys have been around since 2008-2009, there's really no reason for them TO shake up right now if they're still getting a big fanbase. It's like how other form of pop culture works sometimes, why change if what you're doing right now works?

I can remember watching this as a kid and yeah, it's THAT bad. The Born To Be Wild scene still haunts me, I didn't even need to see it again to remember it.
I think the entire jumping the shark spiel made this review for me.

Just to play Devil's advocate here, Bischoff said the same thing when fans asked/complained about Nitro being so similiar from week to week. Back in 1998!

I'd have to disagree, because I think his schtick has the least shelf life of all of them. Stringing together random curses and saying f*** a lot tends o get old the third or fourth time. To his credit, there is a long stretch of time between videos, which helps since it's not weekly.

But the thing is, there's no internet critics doing anything new with the format, unlike wwf who was doing new things (albiet borrowed from ecw, but still,,).

I think the problem will be less that they're not doing anything different, and more that there's too many people doing the same thing. Its great that all the critics have this big fraternity, and can have big meet-ups every year, but the fact is, the already large number of net critics is growing, and not all of them are really doing anything to set themselves apart from eachother.
The whole "net critic" industry is basically a bubble that's constantly growing in size, and I fear the day that it eventually bursts.

To his credit, there is a long stretch of time between videos, which helps since it's not weekly. But as he said, the guy has done other stuff like a look back at old gaming systems and retrospectives on good games ( and usually those are among his more interesting videos) than just the rampant cursing and things. I will agree that the standard reviews can get repetitive, and I never need to see his extraneous skit stuff again. As for NC; this one was pretty good, he seems to have 'righted the ship' for now, as he was getting just over the top with all the mugging and meme creation he was trying to do per video.
