I caught the newest episode and thought it was hilarious, there's not a ton of new sitcoms I like but I like this one a lot What do you think of it?

It has the odd one liner that makes me laugh, but generally, like Raising Hope, it makes me smile. I feel better coming out of the show than I did going in, and so one hopes it continues a good while.

Never seen it but I've only read and heard bad things about it. If it came on any day other than Monday I would check it out.

I dont listen to anything critics write anymore.
They seems to love what I hate, and hate shows I love.
I especially hate the critics who begin reviews stating that the went into the show ready to dislike it because it replaced a show they liked, or because it stars someone who once made a one of cameo appearence in a show they didnt like 5 years ago.

His friend looks a lot like Michael Tarver.

The fat jokes turned me off after episode three. I am glad for the girl because my wife and I loved her on Samantha Who

I thought its awesome. Chuck Loore has three hits now (Two and a Half Men, Big Bang Theory, and now Mike and Molly). The SITCOM is finaly coming back.

I watched the first 3 or 4 episodes then gave up on it. Just didn't care much for it. Bad jokes (or should I say lack of jokes in general), uninteresting characters and it offers nothing new and/or exciting to the sitcom format.

I thought it was full of potential, but they went for the cheap 'fat' gag too often rather than a cleverer punchline which it would be better off for.
The "dirty anythings from anywhere" line slayed me though.

I watched the first 2 episodes and didn't care for it at all. The 2 stars are likeable enough (from what I've seen) but the jokes just felt like "BWA HA HA, Get it??? It's because they're FAT!!! *slaps you on the back* FAT PEOPLE ARE FUNNY!!!! BWA HA HA!!!!!!" rather then any real substance

When I say the "SITCOM is back" it means I'm trying to say that reality tv from 2001-2009 has killed off many potential sitcoms because of RTV is the thing of the decade (not to mention cheaper to produce than sitcoms). I love all those shows you mention, but there cult following hits (a lot of people still haven't even heard of How I met Your Mother till this day, thats how underated it is) compared to (at times, overhyped) Modern Family.

I think How I Met Your Mother is too big to call cult, though. It averages more than 8.5 million viewers, capping at one point in excess of 11 million. That's a bonafide hit.
