I don't know kitsune, for me joe is always fun to use in the fatal fury series, yet in KOF and CVS he is always boring to me Except in KOF XII, god, he is really funny there (and finally, KOF XIII has arrived to chile, sadly is at 1 hour of my house, but well, at least I played it, and with some fixes, could be the best kof ever) The games I've mostly used Joe in are CvS 2 and KoF Wild Ambition. I'm most comfortable with him in those games. As I've said before, I'm not tournament level, so that doesn't really factor into who I use in any given game (I mostly just play against the computer).

is fatal fury wild ambition, nor kof xD
Even though my opinion with joe wasn't from a competitive perspective (I never use him) but I love all the juggles that he had on FF and KOF XII

Hmm, dunno if I could order them, but: Street Fighter Alpha 3 Guilty Gear XX #Reload Virtua Fighter 4 Tekken 5 Mortal Kombat: Armageddon (Yes, I actually enjoyed the PS2/XBox/GCN era Mortal Kombats.) Soul Calibur 4 Marvel vs. Capcom 2 Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike Rival Schools Kensei: Sacred Fist (It wasn't that great, but for some reason I'm really fond of it.) Evil Zone (Sure as hell not the most technical of fighters, but it's a blast.) Street Fighter IV BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger Probably tons more, too, I just can't think of any. Also, these are all from the perspective of someone who enjoys fighting games, but is TERRIBLE at them. I can barely play against casual players, much less anyone at tournament level. Oh, Kensei is great stuff. It just had the misfortune of being made around the same time that Tekken 3 had its home release. Super Dragon Ball Z is another one that can get oddly fun once you play it for a while. Just that the character selection isn't very diverse. Bloody Roar 1 is another favorite of mine. It was basically the PSX's answer to Fighting Vipers, and really fun for its time. The series got kind of bloated after that, though. Ooh, somehow I forgot about Bloody Roar. 2 is probably my favourite in the series. I'm gonna have to track that bastard down at some point. Super DBZ was definitely fun, but I prefer the games that emulate the show better, as opposed to the ones that focus on being good fighting games. I guess if I'm including Evil Zone, I might as well include DBZ: The Great Dragonball Legend, and Budokai Tenkaichi 3. Some of the most fun I've ever had with games.

Duo Lon is only top tier in 2003 (And I hate him too)
But the 2 more competitive KOF games, 98, 2002 (and their um versions) had a good chunk of characters which you can win, hell, I think that in 98um anybody not named o shermie, lucky d ex billy or ex andy can win, in 2002um everybody not named vanessa too

BR 2 is a good game, yeah, but I've got my own stupid reasons for being annoyed at some of the decisions Eighting made for that game...

Super Dragon Ball Z is another one that can get oddly fun once you play it for a while. Just that the character selection isn't very diverse. Except it has more diversity than the ones that try to emulate the shoe so much. Characters int he Tenkaichi games have a habit of playing extremely samey. In Super you had RTSD, Footsie, Grappler, Mix-Up, and Defensive characters. Unlike most characters in the Tenkiachi series which are pretty much lame RTSD types. My favourite fighting games though Vampire Savior *Was there any doubt* Marvel vs Capcom 2 *I'm Seattle gotta rep thjs* Super DBZ Melty Blood AACC GGAC Hokotou no Ken Arcana Heart 3 KoF 98UM KoF 2k2UM Garou: MOTW KoF XI KoF XIII Real Bout Fatal Fury 2 SFA2 *Screw A3, hella gross game* SF3 Third Strike SF2ST Tekken 6 UMK3 If I had to say a top 5 1. Vampire Savior 2. MvC2 3. SF3 Third Strike 4. KoF 2k2UM 5. Arcana Heart 3

To name some dark games, I think that Akatsuki Blitzkampf, Melty Blood, Breakers Revenge, Waku Waku and the whole power instinct series are very funny to good games

PI2 will always be my favorite of the series, even though it might be considerered behind the times. As for stuff like Melty Blood and Arcana Heart, just not my bag, man. Even as someone who liked Asuka 120%, which might be the well from which all the rest of those games sprung.

I don't play a lot of fighting games, so Guilty Gear and Touhou get in my favorite fighting games list by default, though I do enjoy both a lot.

The last PI entry was an epic flop When you can only find 3 videos of gameplay of an arcade game in nico douga, you know that the game flopped BAD It seems that the game has stupid infinites and is ultra broken, and lots of other things, hell, I only knew that the game was released after seeing for coincidence in one interview of NesicaxLive BTW, I can't wait for the release of The King of Fighters 98 Ultimate Match Final Edition for NesicaxLive (KOF98UMFEfNxL for friends ) I'm sure that this game will be the most balanced fighting game in history, I only hope that SNKP releases it to xbox or PS3 (Krauser has been TOTALLY nerfed, everybody else was buffed)
