The girl I dated in high school has sent me a friend request on Facebook. Should I accept it?
For those of you who have caught any of my posts on "Stuff my psycho ex-girlfriend did" threads, this is that girl. This was the girl who returned my love with emotional abuse. She drove away all my friends, crushed my self-image and ripped my heart out. It's been twenty years since I last saw her and I think I'm strong enough now to resist the manipulative games that she used to enjoy so much.
Or should I just click on "Ignore" and pretend I never saw it?

I left all my high school drama back at high school. When I look back at some of my peers who did not, I feel it was for the best.
Who knows, maybe this particular individual has changed. But maybe she hasn't. Which outcome has a more meaningful impact?

Pretty much asking for trouble, yes. I can't see much good coming from it unless she is significantly de-crazied.
I have a similarly crazy ex, and I'm not sure if I'd accept the request either.

Are you single now?
Accept it, talk to her, feel her out and see if she's still as crazy. If she's not, and she wants to make amends, do so -- let her apologize, maybe even go out for coffee or something. Get everything all warm and fuzzy again and then BAM -- run her underwear up the flagpole, so to speak. The opportunity for revenge rarely presents itself, give it a shot!

Accept it and see where it leads. If it's been twenty years she might have changed and might want to make amends. If she's still crazy, remove her from your friends list and block her.

Personally, I wouldn't even bother with it.

If you're sure you're over it, there's no harm. If you think it may open up some unwanted doors, then abort.

Unless this is an elaborate plot to crush her spirit in return, don't bother.

Why bother, whats to gain from it for you? shes probably not a psyco anymore but still, plenty of women that didnt fd you up so badly around to go back to one that did.
That past tread of yours about all that sounds entretaining, ill give it a read later on.

Cut on the dotted line and paste it over everything associated with this person of which you speak.

Ignore that tart. All she did was bring you grief. Giving her any kind of attention would just show her that its okay to treat people like that. And like others have said, that was years ago. So do yourself a favor and don't regress.
Oddly enough, my brother's crazy ass ex from 15 years ago sent me a friend request yesterday. I have no idea why. I promptly ignored it. She is BAD news.

I went home and discussed the idea with my wife. She said to go for it.
I think my wife wants to see if this woman is really as big a nutjob as all my stories have made her out to be.
So I did.
*gulp*
