Rouge and Leach: Aside from the X-men as metaphors for teenagers coming to grips with their emerging identity, you have to remember, both Xavier and Magneto's ideology is that Mutation is the next step of human evolution, of progress. Which is flawed, evolution is not a matter of benign providence, but rather a process of trial and error (Unless you are Doomsday). That some mutants have powers resembling birth defects should be probably be accounted for, but isn't. So basically, Rouge has been indoctrinated by Xavierism, and would see losing her power, even for a moment, as a betrayal of her destiny. But then the inability to touch anyone removes her from the chance to reproduce, inevitably proving she is the exact opposite of the next stage in evolution.

Even though I didn't really care for this movie, what about this character?

It's been a while since I've seen this, but she kinda reminds me of the main character from the OVA "Read or Die" Or at least an Americanized version of her.

You know, by now someone should have posted something from Sailor Moon. Bah, I'll do it myself.

Eeh, I prefer Sailor Pluto. Plus she's the only Legal-By-U.S.-Standards Sailor Senshi.

Oh Cthulhu...of all the Scouts, you post The One Least Likely? Maybe he's hoping for a 3 way also including Neptune. Or, to put it in Tommy Dreamer terms: <Cthulhu>I'll take them both, I'm hardcore!

Oh Cthulhu...of all the Scouts, you post The One Least Likely? Well, in the beginning when I was young my answer would have been Mars. Actually, my memory is vague -- but it was probably Mars, Jupiter, or Venus. Definitely not Moon or Mercury. By the time I watched the season with Uranus, my answer changed to Uranus, for some reason. Oh Cthulhu...of all the Scouts, you post The One Least Likely? Maybe he's hoping for a 3 way also including Neptune. Or, to put it in Tommy Dreamer terms: <Cthulhu>I'll take them both, I'm hardcore! Eh, I didn't really notice Neptune. But I'll still take both, since I am hardcore.

I've read a PG-rated fan fic that brought that up. Rogue did have a brief fling with Colossus, noting that he was invulnerable to her powers while he was in armored form. 1. How the hell does that make sense? 2. Gah! Cold... Dunno, I wasn't reading the comic at the time. I guess since she has invulnerability, the metal wouldn't hurt her and Colossus can essentially maintain the form (heh, maintain) infinitely as long as he's conscious, so... giggity?

In the issue involving the Nimrod sentinel and the Hellfire Club, Colossus was sucked into the ground and when Rogue was trying to pull him out, Selene disintegrated her gloves causing Rogue to absorb his powers. So shenanigans have been called.
