Rush Limbaugh and Michael Savage come to mind immediately - Rush is a jerk, but Savage is downright vile. Same goes for their liberal equivalents too if they exist (for whatever reason liberals don't tend to be as successful on the radio) Deminski & Doyle in Detroit were my favorite radio hosts, back on 97.1FM. Great chemistry, and generally funny without being childishly vulgar like Stern or Mancow. They also always did a lot of a promotion for the local wrestling indy feds. They left the station back in 2007/2008 though and it has since switched to an all-sports format. Another AWESOME radio show is the Thomas Jefferson hour. www.jeffersonhour.org/One guy is in character as Thomas Jefferson, and answers questions sent in by listeners.

Janeane Garofalo, Randi Rhodes, and Mike Malloy are probably the 3 most prominent ones. As far as Radio Hosts I like, there hasn't been one since Bruce Bond. Who was run out of Central PA twice, and is now in jail for credit fraud.

Oh I know they exist, but I don't think they can claim an audience anywhere nearly as big as Rush.

Pretty much any political talk radio show, though especially Rush Limbaugh, Michael Savage, and Glenn Beck.
Also, I love Mike Francesa personally, though the people who call into his shows are usually total idiots. Though I can see why anyone who roots for a team whose name ends with "-ets" would hate him. ;D

Colin Cowherd and Mike Francesa. It makes me depressed they have ever achieved success. See, I actually like Cowherd. He's one of the few guys on ESPN Radio who isn't just a company YES man. He might state his opinions in kind of a smarmy way, but at least he's being honest and actually someone entertaining along the way. Some of the shows on ESPN are just boring because they just basically won't say a single bad thing about anyone and love everything. Being an angry mean idiot isn't a great radio host either. There is a happy medium between the rambling rantings of an idiot that Cowherd has and the boring you to sleep despite it being the morning show style of Mike and Mike.

Stern can be an ass, but Imus is just plain boring.

My problem with Cowherd is the same problem I have with a lot of people in radio and TV, which is his annoying elitism. He has no problems with complaining about his audience when they're not 100% in lockstep with him (he especially loves to bash people who make less than 6 figures a year). If you hate your audience so much, get out of the business. Even if it means making less money.

Oh, I also hate Bubba the Love Sponge. Never actually listened to his radio show, but my exposure to him on TNA made me hate him immensely. I hate his fanbase, too.

There's probably a million others who do the exact same thing but around here Dave and Jimmy plays on the top 40 station. I don't think they're local or anything, so they might be in your area too. They're just unfunny in every way. What's worse, they had this "ever so hillarious" song about Snooki, but when she comes on their show, they're ever so nice and interested in what she has to say. Suck ups.
Get Henry Rollins his own show. If he already has one, put it on in my area.

I'm currently listening to JT the Brick. What an arrogant asshat. I felt that way about Don Tony and Kevin Castle's podcast show. To me, they just bitched about everything in TNA, or ROH and praised WWE. Somethings were so over the top that they came off as humorous, but largely, I found them arrogant and annoying. One of the guys says things that makes me think he's a bigot. I know someone here has them in his/her sig, but they really just rubbed me the wrong way (and not in a good way either) and made me delete them from my podcasts library.

In this country Scott Mills. Always tries WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too hard to be cool and sound disinterested in anything that could be perceived as uncool. And he's just not funny. You can say the same with Chris Moyles, Ferne Cotton, Jo Whilley and any other Radio 1 Daytime DJ Host See I can listen to any Radio 1 DJ talk except Moyles. Cannot stand that man or his friends or them talking about their boring lives. Plus there's never any music on when he's on Radio 1.

Honestly, just about all of them. It would be easier for me to name the ones I like. I don't like Stern,Opie and Anthony,Don Imus,Bob and Tom,Rush Limbaugh,John Boy and Billy, etc. I could go on for a while.

He's even said it himself that if you are a radio host and nobody has a problem with you, then you're a boring radio host. I do agree that he's on one end of things and Mike and Mike are on the other. A happy middle ground would be Scott Van Pelt.
