Cry me a freaking river 4 of your 6 teams have a world titles this decade most less then 5 years ago. One of them won the title LAST YEAR, and the other won as recently as 94. You have nothing to complain about. Yeah, but I want them to keep winning. You see how that works don't you? One you have a piece of that pie, you want more. I really list them in this order: 1. Kings 2.49ers 3. Angels 4. Ducks 5. Colts 6. Lakers (they really shouldn't be on this list, but meh, I threw them in anyways). Besides, you have a few people complaining about the Devils/Giants/Yankees and they've won titles in this decade too. And I'd say the same thing to them. If your team has won a title in the last decade you have nothing to complain about.

I suppose I'm not the first but the Cubs. Over a hundred years since they won the world series and it looks like it'll be five more decades before they get even close.
I started out as a Cubs Fan in 98 and like many have experienced the grief and disappointment of watching them. From getting swept by the Braves to continous last place finishes to the Bartman Incident and watching them in back to back years get the best record in the NL only to be swept in the first round and then going back to their old roots.
As of now I'm indifferent to them and baseball.

The Nets are really the only sports team I care about, and they are not even close to being in playoff form right now. Of course, they made the finals 2 out of the last 10 years, so I am not complaining about too much,

I live on the North Side of Chicago. Need I say more? The Cubs by far. I enjoy watching the Bears, but my emotional investment is less than it is for the other teams. I'm a new convert to the joys of hockey, and as frustrating as the Blackhawks' struggles have been this year, they are still a really good team just finding an identity. And I got Derrick Rose to cheer for, and Stacey King calling the action to boot. Stacey is almost equal to Gus Johnson in kick-ass excitability. If you don't believe me, head over to the Bulls' website and check out his call of Kyle Korver's game-winning 3 Saturday night against the Heat.
Cubs.

I'd also add the Pacers as well. Specifically after watching Reggie Miller, who I consider the best BasketBall player to never win it all come up short again and again despite nailing game winning 3s time and time again. Even getting the best of Jordan on a daily basis that had him shaking his head in disbelief. As well as tearing the heart out of the Knicks and Spike Lee nearly every time they went to the Garden. During his last year I thought they where going to do it but after the Incident at the Palace with The Pistons and watching him carry his team to the playoffs as a sixth seed. It was heartbreaking to see his final game knowing he came up short again.

Arvydas Sabonis has to be pretty high on the "never win it all list," though he was well past his prime by the time he actually made it to the NBA. It's a shame the Pacers are in the situation they're in, simply because they should be able to be better. I understand Minnesota's struggles. I understand why Milwaukee has a hard time. But Indianapolis ought to be able to produce a winner.

My favorite teams are the Detroit Lions,Indiana Pacers,Detroit Tigers, and Chicago Blackhawks. So eliminate the Blackhawks since they actually win and take your pick of the other three. Well, the Tigers are getting better but still.

Right now out of the Saints, LSU football, and the Hornets, probably LSU with the two clock management gaffes the last two seasons(at Ole Miss and vs. Tennessee).
The Saints winning the Super Bowl last season more than made up for everything that happened before it. The next Lombardi Trophy they win will make up for last week's debacle.
The Hornets I'm not too worried about since I know they have no chance at the NBA title(especially after watching them get screwed in their Western Semifinal series against the Spurs two years ago).

add another one for the Chicago Cubs- what else needs to be said, 1908. hell in the last 10 years the Red Sox have broken their curse (I still like them so no biggie), the Cardinals won a WS and the WHITE SOX have won a WS. The Cubs... we had Steve Bartman, the injuries to Prior and Wood, and now the meltdown of Carlos Zambrano
Iowa Hawkeyes (mostly the basketball teams)- sure the 2010 Hawks football team was frustrating, but the last 10 some years of Hawkeye Basketball... from the Steve Alford years to the dreadful Todd Lickliter years. although I think the basketball team is finally starting to turn the corner, but the last times I've said it, we've always been struck with player defections and such.
Dallas Cowboys- since the Super Bowl victory in 95, how many ways can we lose a playoff game or any game of importance? also this past season when Wade Phillips was still coach

The New York Giants have caused, in no order, me to cry tears of joy, punch walls, crush three cans of beverages against my forehead, and countless incidents of screaming at the top of my lungs. Without a doubt, they cause the most angst for me.
However, with the Yankees, while less stressful, any loss to the Red Sox means that the entire day is ruined, ditto for playoff losses. If eliminated, I usually get over it after a week or so. So, it's not too bad.
The Nets have sucked away my passion for them over this last half a decade. However, at their peak when they were one of the tops in the Eastern Conference, I was stressed for the playoff games, especially after that incident against the lousy Celtics.

You know, yea we made it to the finals 2 years in a row, but look at what our horrible ownership did to that once great team! All that cared about was the move to Brooklyn. Still, we got pieces in place to be a monster in the East very soon. So I'll take last year's horrible season, and this year's slight signs of hope. EDIT: After reading all posts, 2 Nets fans now! I thought I was the only one left.

As a Detroit Lions fan, I have to say this. It goes to everyone here who are fans of a different NFL team....
You don't know what pain is.
Sure the Lions look to be turning the corner, and the future looks promising.
However.
None of you have ever had to endure going 0 - 16.
I would rather have John Elway make the Lions the victims of "The Drive" ten times over than 0 - 16.
I would rather the Lions lose 4 Super Bowls in a row than go 0 - 16.
I would rather the Lions be victims of the tuck rule than go 0 - 16.
I guess you see my pattern here. The 0 - 16 thing really grates at me, and makes it very hard for me to sympathize with the plights of any other NFL teams. You add that to another half century of failure, almost 20 years since their last playoff win, and this is what you get. You get a guy who isn't gonna give you a sympathetic pat on the back when your team flubs it up badly one way or another.
You may get a welcome to the club pat on the back. Every team has its down periods, but at least most of you have been to a Super Bowl, most of you have a playoff win in the last 2 decades. The one team I MIGHT be able sympathize with is the Browns, but as for everyone else....

This is only directed at the fans of NFL teams, I know all to well the plights of teams in other sports.

Fighting the NFL tooth and nail to keep your name records and colors. Then watching as the illegal franchise that was formed with your old team wins the Super Bowl. Then you have to sit and watch as their criminal owner who stole your team lifts the Lombardi trophy. 0-16 is tiddlywinks compared to that. I'll take year of 0-16 over 4 long years of 0-0 any day.

True that. I love the Lions, good times and bad times, and if they were suddenly taken away from us and moved somewhere else, I'd be devastated. I was more disappointed than I was mad or angry during the 0-16 season. But there was only one way to go from there. The Pacers are starting to confuse me. They beat the Lakers AND Heat on the road this season. This is a better team than they are playing as right now.

The Niners since they're my favorite team, and every year in the second half of this decade they find a way to underperform.
I'd say the Clippers but I'm so damn used to them losing. And Blake Griffin has given us Clippers fans a dangerous thing, hope. Plus it's not the team that causes grief, it's the f***ing owner.

The Habs can drive me insane.
- Many of them need target practice. They get chances where you know a guy on the fourth line in some other team would have nailed it but them? Goes over the net, goes off to the left, goes off a fellow player and down the ice, etc.
- One game they can fly and you think they are one damn good team. The next? They don't show up, play sloppy, take stupid penalities and look like crap.
- We draft players that could be great but we ruin them. We end up trading them and they end up becoming great somewhere else. Or we end up ruining them by not developing them properly...then they are traded and become something somewhere else (well, not all the time).
- We are on a power play and in the opposite team's zone. We set up. Pass. Pass. Pass. Set up to shoot, pass. Set up again, pass. Time flies and the penalty is quickly vanishing. Pass. Pass again. Let one move here, the other over there. Pass. Pa - oops! We lost the puck! - and then have to chase the puck, leave the zone, and try to get back and set up again. This is so aggrivating.
