She says it reminded her of the Adam West Batman, which she liked. I guess I can see where she is coming from, but UHG.

As a kid, I liked Batman and Robin. It was cheesy fun.

I love watching Batman and Robin. It's one of those movies where it's so bad it's good.

She does know that they made an actual movie version of the 1960s Batman show, does she?

I thought George Clooney got unfairly blamed for the end of the Batman movie enterprise. It could have been a better movie if the script was original.

I liked that movie for much the same reason. It's a quality flick, just not the same dark gritty bullcrap you see from the first two.

What's wrong with your mom liking it? I think you need to... CHILL OUT!

Well, what can you do? Parents have strange tastes. For example, not having seen any of the source material, my mom watched and enjoyed Dragonball Evolution. I had half a mind to hit her.

I liked it when I was a kid. Now, after seeing how bad it is, I still kinda like it.
Street Fighter the movie is still one of my favorites.
My dad liked Twilight. Both movies.

I still dislike Batman Forever. It's not that I don't...try...to enjoy it, it just irks me because it goes in so many directions all at once and I can tell at one point, this movie was pretty damn good, it just got edited to hell and back and many things ended up on the cutting room floor. Well, that and the outright character assassination of Two Face kinda blows too. NOT EVERY VILLAIN HAS TO BE LIKE THE JOKER. FFS. I could deal with Jim Carrey's Riddler because that was more or less every Carreycactiure of the time.
Good soundtrack though. And I actually liked quite a few of the sets.
As for & Robin. Yeah, it's absurd. I even felt a little miffed at the end of it as a kid, like, I wanted to like it, but I was just about the right age to where I was like "something was 'off', wasn't it?", I haven't seen it in long enough to really comment, whereas I've re-viewed "Forever" recently.

The one thing I liked about the Schumacher movies was the design of Gotham City and its residents
The immensely tall buildings, colours, and statues etc....

Yeah, I'll kind of agree (though I don't think the first two are bullcrap). I've said this numerous times, but the Burton/Schumacher series starts out really dark and kinda depressing, and ends on a really light-hearted note. It feels like the only time Batman actually definitively wins his war on crime in Gotham. So I like that aspect of it.

I don't get people feeling shame for liking this stuff.
If it entertains you, it shouldn't really be a guilty pleasure. Why feel guilty for enjoying something?
