I thought the trash talk was supposed to fire up the Pats not make them suck

Stunned after the first half. If the game was close I wouldn't have been floored, but I never saw Brady and co. coming out playing like sacks of s***.

Just to post from the last thread You're telling me. Not bad, inexplicably bad. I'm not going to sell the Jets' D short, but I'm not sure if it's Brady or the rest of the offense just tanking. Or both. Meanwhile the Pats' D is making Sanchez and co. look like all stars. This is what happens when the Pats offense doesn't run up the score early: they expose the defense. There's no running up the score in the NFL. It's called scoring as much as possible to your point so the D isn't expose.

The people there have to be having bad flashbacks to Baltimore a year ago. That's the last time I saw this team play THIS bad at home.

It may be just me, but I was expecting much more intensity from both sides in this game. If the trend continues then I'll have to say that outside of the Steelers/Ravens game this weekend was a flop.

If the Jets win, I become a James Harrison fan.

That velvet jacket on Sharpe is quite distracting.

If the Jets win, I become a James Harrison fan. The one team that could make me root for the Steelers. The Gang of Green D-Bags from New York. Hopefully it won't come to that. James Harrison has been fined $35,000 for bringing MGH to the dark side.

Get as many points as possible to demoralize the other team.

I wasn't on here when it happen, but I wanted to say what I thought when Crumpler dropped the TD early. WHY WAS THAT PLAY TO HIM!? That play screamed GRONK! And people wonder why we here in New England still hate Bill O'Brien as OC.

Tom Brady is playing like Carson Palmer and Bill is calling a game like Marvin Lewis. No, really, I've seen these throws for 4 years.

It turns out that Al Davis fined Tom Cable over 100 grand for "infractions" this season The NFL has just announced it has matched Tom Cable's $100,000 fine and given it to James Harrison, because Al Davis gave Commissioner Roger Goddell a nasty look. It freaked out the commissioner and thus, fined James Harrison. The NFL has also announced a James Harrison Swear Jar. For every profanity James Harrison mutters, he will be fined $1,000. At the end of the season, the money collected will be donated to The United Way. The United Way, upon hearing this, is expected to use the money to buy Iceland.
