Amusingly, this morning on BBC Breakfast, they showed a few clips from a new British sitcom about a pair of writers whose series is remade in America. It's called "Episodes", and looks quite good. Has Steven Mangan and Tamsin Greig and Matt LeBlanc.

I thought they did apparently picked up the US IT Crowd, mostly cause it was reported as a good news/bad news situation with the announcement of a 5th season. It was pretty recent, Not sure if it was changed or something happened.

I actually thought US version of Life on Mars was pretty decent and I enjoy their take on it. I am happy it last only one season though. It would have been more successful on Sci-Fi as it went over the general population's head. Still wasn't as good as original but not as bad as people act like it is

Dear John was bigger in US than in England as it ran 3 seasons while the original British version only last 1 season.
Cosby (1998 CBS sitcom, not 80's NBC) was a remake of One Foot in The Grave and and had a successful 3 season run.
US Coupling, US Cold Feet, and US Teachers all sucked! Some shows are just not meant to be Americanized.
