As I said on page 30 of the last thread, after tonight's performance from Michael Vick, Tom Brady should start to clear a spot on his mantle for another MVP trophy.

The Bears still have a shot at the #1 seed if Carolina and Tampa Bay win Sunday. Counting on the Panthers to win?

Well looks like the bye week comes a bit early for the Eagles, because the next game has just become entirely worthless.

Oh, and as I said in the last thread:
This season, the NFC North is the Eagles' kryptonite (3 of their 5 losses came from teams in that division). Good thing we likely won't have to play a team from there in the first round or anything!

I hope the Eagles go out in the first round. Not sure who they will be matched up with, could still be the Packers right?

I hope the Eagles go out in the first round. Not sure who they will be matched up with, could still be the Packers right? Yep. Packers win Sunday and they play the Eagles. And if somehow the Eagles pull that one off, they get to (most likely) face the Bears in the next game! So the Eagles road to Arlington involves beating TWO teams that stomped them earlier in the season. Oh it's totally happening! ;D .................

what an embarassing performance by the Eagles. Vick honestly got outplayed by Joe Webb. Disgraceful.
And as an Illinois resident, I'm taking my life in my own hands by saying this, but the Bears would be one of the worst #1 seeds in NFL history.

Report: NFL to Punish Brett Favre Over Sexting
11 minutes ago by TMZ Staff
Brett Favre will finally have to pay for allegedly texting photos of his dong knob to former NY Jets employee Jen Sterger -- the NFL has reportedly decided to fine the legendary QB over the scandal.
There was speculation Favre could face a suspension -- but early this morning, FOX Sports reporter Jay Glazer twittered, "Commish is expected to fine Brett Favre today, tomorrow the latest, but NOT suspend Favre."
As we previously reported, the NFL had launched an investigation to see if Favre had violated the league's personal conduct policy during his correspondence with Sterger.
Filed under: Brett Favre, Jenn Sterger, TMZ Sports
HEH?
Brett punished? I woulda never thought.
That $25 fine is going to really hit his wallet.

The New York Post is reporting that Brett Favre will be fined, but not suspended, for sending sexually explicit text messages, phone calls and pictures to Jenn Sterger.
Pro Football Talk is reporting that the deadline for Sterger to file a lawsuit against Brett Favre was Tuesday, as it was two years to the day of the last text message that Favre sent to Sterger. However, Sterger's lawyer, Joseph Conway believes the two-year period for filing a sexual harassment claim ends in June 2011, on the two-year anniversary of the date of the last phone call made by Favre to Sterger.
Needless to say, I find it quite ironic that on the day after the supposed deadline for Sterger to file a lawsuit against Favre, the NFl comes down on Favre with a slap on the wrist. Conway said that if the NFL suspended Favre for his actions, there would be no legal recourse. However, now that the deadline has allegedly passed, the NFL and Favre can breathe a sigh of relief, as we all knew that there was no way the NFL was going to suspend the Golden Child for this.

Despite Joe Webb's impressive game Tuesday night, interim coach Leslie Frazier is sticking with Brett Favre in the season finale if the veteran passes his concussion test.
