So in honor of New Year's Eve I'd figure I'd ask this Futurama question. So what's the joke behind the pseudonym in which Nibbler called into Mr. Panucci's to lure Philip J. Frye to the cryogenics lab? I tend to go with Icey Weiner because of the whole conotation that could be related to the cryogenics lab.

I'd say Icy, because he's going to a Cryogenics place.

"Icy", given the logistics of where the call was said to have "originated" from.

Gotta love that we're just a bunch of guys, sitting around on New Year's Eve, discussion the finer points of "I.C. Weiner."
That being said, Icy all day.

Believe it or not, this is the first time the thought that it would be "I See Weiner" occurred to me. It's always been Icy in my mind.
...That sounds kinda wrong.

For some reason when I saw this thread I was thinking it would be about I.M. Weasel and I.R. Baboon.

Well, the idea is that it is both.
It's Icy because of the cryogenics, but it's I See because that implies seeing cock, which is dirty and thus funny.
Double word play, with innuendo thrown in that is both innocent and rude.

I have never though of it as being I see and honestly dont get how that would have been the joke. Surely its ICEY due to the fact that its frozen genitalia in the cryogenics lab?

The entire joke is that it's "I See Wiener".
It's been that joke for decades.

"There isn't anybody by that name here. Or anywhere. I hope in time you realize how stupid you are." Not likely! Also Icy... it's in a cryogenics lab... with frozen people... and therefore Icy Weiners. And count me into the people that never thought of it as I see.

As a former pizza delivery specialist, I would have to say that in the profession, I See Weiner would be the desired outcome. However, given the extreme circumstances, I'm gonna have to go with Icy Weiner.
