I don't get this line of thinking AT ALL!
I'd like 1, 2, and 3 so when I saw 2 was newly added I figured 1 was already there and would only have to wait for 3, but NOOO... Nintendo is dumb or something. wtf?

You ask that, but you don't ask how they can still get away with charging ten dollars for software copy of a ten year old game?

Nintendo is dumb or something. wtf? Oh, they're not dumb. If you remember, they had to deal with a big problem with the original Mario Party: blistered thumbs. Some of the minigames required rapid rotation of the control stick which caused them and forced Nintendo to give anyone who had the game 4 pairs of gloves to remedy the problem. This is why it is unlikely that the original Mario Party will be released on the VC... at least not without completely removing said minigames.

MP1 is a devil of an evil game. Blisters, broken analogs, I can see why they haven't bothered re-releasing it.

Yeah, I say the problem with the game was more destroying controllers than blistered thumbs/palms, but fact is Mario Party 1 was a messed up game.
Decent, but broken as hell. (And not in the good way, obviously.)

Besides the reasons here, I'll also say this:
Why hasn't either the original Star Forx or Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island found their way onto Virtual Console yet?

They managed to port Yoshi's Island to Game Boy Advance, there shouldn't be TOO much more of a problem turning it into a VC game, IMO.

Not only that, but I've seen homebrew emulators for the Wii run the games. That's right. Homebrew emulators can Super FX games. Nintendo has no excuse for this.

And this is why it's best to just have the carts themselves...
And Mario Party 2 was the best of the bunch anyways. Better mini games, better boards, items, and less worry of bloody palms.

Frankly, given how few games are released for VC these days, you can't really turn your nose to them.

Because the game sells for about $15-$20 in cartridge form Ugh, where in the name of baby Jesus are you buying your carts? You can get this game in Dublin, a city that has about a fifth the population of most big American cities, for about eight euros, which is about ten dollars. I find the concept of the virtual console horrendous, you're paying extortionist prices for antiquated software, that you don't actually own a hard copy for, and will disappear should you Wii encounter any difficulties. I mean, how sick would you be if your Wii gets flashed? Imagine the amount of coinage that just blows away. The VC just doesn't make economic sense of any level.

I only use the VC for games I likely wouldn't play in any other capacity, like ones that were originally only released in Japan, etc.
As for the broken controller issue, I think the main problem with MP1 was just how poorly designed the N64 analog stick was. Those things wore out easily no matter what games you played. I really can't see it being a problem with the classic controller.

I know they don't do this for Classic games converted to the VC but they could just change the mechanic for those particular mini-games. I always like MP1 the most it was simple and straight forward and fun. That being said it did ruin controllers.

It's annoying when the do that.
Mass Effect 2 is coming to the PS3. But not Mass Effect 1.
Also I don't know why they did not put Half Life 1 in the Orange Box. I'm sure it could of been squeezed in.

Well, in all fairness, the n64 controller introduced a lot of concepts that form the foundation of modern game control, namely both the analoge stick and the rumble pack. That the first incarnation of the concept was fragile, is to be expected.
