I'll buy it anyway because I'm a shameless OOT mark, but it honestly seems that the sole reason this game was made was because of the Iron Boots thing.
You just can't make a game like that better though. Even though the touchscreen will be a helpful addition, I have a feeling the game just wont have the same feel and heart as the N64 version.

Same here. Playing Ocarina of Time on a long drive or flight would be badass. The 3ds is shaping up to have some pretty excellent games. Resident Evil, Paper Mario etc. I am very excited for the release.

Well thank God they are doing something about the water temple. That temple is so tedious that I usually just stop playing when I get to it. Though it does have that bad ass fight with dark link so I always get bummed out about missing it.
I wish some other companies would take note of how Nintendo does their best to make their best games live on forever. How many re-releases has Ocarina had now? Fans obviously keep buying it, and newer fans get to experience it. Imagine if Square-Enix would just once update and re-release FF7, fans would basically have a giant nerdgasm.

The sad thing is, Square Enix remakes stuff all the time. I remember Japan getting a DQ 1&2 SNES pack. They remade a lot of their games for the PS1, the GBA and the DS. So, they'll remake games, just not the one that made them a lot of money. In all reality, if they didn't remake it when Advent Children, Dirge and Crisis Core came out. My guess is, that Sony has placed a hold on the remake, and is saving it for a big event.

Honestly the 3DS game I want the most is Resident Evil: Revelations. It easily has the best graphics of all the first wave 3DS games, plus you play as Jill Valentine, aside from the Mercenaries mode and the two DLC add-ons for RE5, this is the first time since the REmake that we get to play as Jill in a main entry game in the RE series.
Plus it f***ing has HUNK in it!
