Whats everybody's biggest waste of cash on one item? Last semester I spent about $120 on a book for college that we needed once and later found out the information was all online....

Spent about 1000€ on an nearly obsololete Apple iBook (with some software) because my stupid game development school (which cost me already 15.000€) said "We get and need those". Next week they said "We get the new models so you have to wait for your laptops". 2 weeks later it was "Apple doesn't send us the laptops, we only get the old ones". So we paid way too much for old iBooks (which was cheaper in the official apple store but we still had to pay as much because...nobody knows why) that we only need for the exams and nothing else Apple f***ed it up big time and it was a big rip-off, which made me hate that company even more than before. I'm glad there's no need to buy Apple Crap... Next to that i never spent to much money the wrong way, mostly it was small amounts like 5€ or 10€ which i could've saved like i bought Kansas - Leftoverture for 12,99 and shortly after Sony released a Classic Albums Set consisting of the first 5 Kansas Albums for 15€ - Leftoverture was of course included there

A bunch of junk food, CDs, DVDs stuff I didn't really need basically One of my worst habits. I think that should be my resolution or at least I should try to CUT BACK. I have a tendency to collect items that have to do with stuff that I am into. Whether they are CDs, DVDs (Of certain things), comic books, etc. But I am far from a hoarder. I guess that's why when it comes to music, I also check out CDs from the library and rip them. It saves a crapload of money. Also, I am trying to also get stuff online that are expensive, but I need to rethink first. But in regards to the topic, the video game "Beat Down: Fists of Vengeance." I bought this game because I am a fan of beat 'em ups, but I really wish I rented the game first before buying it because I felt like I threw away 50 dollars for a not-so-good game. The game was not horrible, but it wasn't worth the 50 dollars I blew on it. I'll rebuy it if I find it for cheaper price.

I do enjoy gambling quite a bit, so I have blown some serious money on Craps or sports betting in the past, but nothing I couldn't afford.
Of course, that's not like I should have done it. Just because I could afford to blow $500 in a week doesn't mean I should have.

Everytime I see my dvd collection, I feel as if I have wasted my money... it's just I'm so busy and never know when I'll have time to watch something... and when I do have time I have certain things I want to see right then... plus I take them on the road.... but I see so many movies that I haven't seen in years..

A bunch of Cracked magazines from ebay. I was a big fan from childhood and wanted to revisit it. While some stuff still held up (paticularly the mid-80s stuff with guys like peter bagge working on it) there were just as many "misses". It sure hasnt held up as good as Mad magazine (even though thats taken a nosedive in recent years).
