I've been watching pretty much every episode on Netflix, and now I'm scared to go out of my house

That's what always happens to me when I watch that show as well, scary ass (albeit informational and interesting) show.

I used to watch the show but after a while I got tired of it. The street gang stories all meld together and it goes to show how stupid that life is. Basically you stay on the porch or street corner terrorizing your own neighborhood.
The biker episodes are usually good though. The Pennsylvania Pagans episode was good with the former president carrying a gun to the set since he knows hes a marked man. The Warlocks Florida because of the story of the ATF inflitration and Grub, the founder, who practically has his own langauge.

The episodes about The Best Friends gang and The Hidden Valley Kings make me laugh because of their names alone.

I love that show. I always find it amusing when they have gang members on there, unblurred, voice unaltered, talking about their gangster activities. You would like to think that the shrewder gangsters are the ones that don't go on TV and brag about how gangster they are.

I watched the part about The Best Friends gang.
They buried Maserati Rick Carter in full Mercedes Benz casket with working lights! If you're a gangster that is one hell of a sendoff!

The episodes about The Best Friends gang and The Hidden Valley Kings make me laugh because of their names alone. When I see people outside that look like thugs, I don't even call them thugs. I call them 'hidden valley' now. Same goes for when im throwing some ranch on a salad. I say shit like, "I get THUGGISH WITH MY GREENS, BITCH! HIDDEN VALLEY REPRESENT!" I'm a dork.

Love the show. It's one of my favorites on History and I love that Spike basically plays a mini-marathon prior to Impact.

That guy who does the narration has the best voice.
"The Getalong Gang ruled the streets of Green Meadow. In fact, Green Meadow was renamed by the locals Red Meadow, because the streets ran red with blood..."

Damn right I've seen it. In fact, someone that I know was shown in the background of a couple of pics about a certain Motorcycle Club that I won't talk about. But the things he's told me about the life ... scary.

The FSU episode kinda cracked me up, since I know a lot of those guys, including a few who were actually on the show.

That guy who does the narration has the best voice. "The Getalong Gang ruled the streets of Green Meadow. In fact, Green Meadow was renamed by the locals Red Meadow, because the streets ran red with blood..." Now I can't read your posts without them sounding like the Gangland narrator. What gets me are the old/oldish gang members that cut their ties with the gang because the gang doesn't stand for the right things.

Every time I see the tail end of those shows before Impact starts, all I can think of is "Oh, just kill each other already and get off my planet."
Shows like that are sad, because it just shows all these people who don't care about the lives they destroy, just as long as they get ahead in a fraud and sham of a lifestyle that's been glamorized by the media, including shows like this. It's depressing.

I got sick of watching it after I noticed they were overusing the stupid "AAAAAUUGHHH!!" yell with the flashy images over and over, every episode. One time they did it over 20 times. Just got very annoying.

It's interesting seeing how many different gangs there are. Like the straight edge and Native American gangs.
