The one thing that I loved combined between both videos was his thought-out hate for "Dinner for Schmucks". The movie to me, with other underlying reasons, was so unbearable I walked out, and it was mainly because of Steve Carell's character. Now keep in mind, I don't mind it in "40 Year Old Virgin", "Anchorman", "The Office", etcetra and so forth, but this guy was written so badly that it made the whole movie fall flat on its face.

Exactly. If I wasn't with my brother, I would've probably walked out of the movie. Carrell's character pissed me off so much. Aside from that, here's what I thought Doug's opinions: I have yet to see Easy A, and still want to, but what he said made me hesitate somewhat. I'm not a fan of political jabs to any side, but that's the only thing he said that turned me off somewhat. I was surprised by how good How to Train Your Dragon was. I knew it got good reviews, and I saw it a month ago, and it lived up to the hype. I was surprised with what they did at the ending, in a positive way. It took balls to do something like that, and I thought it worked. Toy Story 3 was a great movie, not my favorite of the series (still goes to the original), but still fantastic. I understand his complaint about the ending, but I still teared up a little when it happened, which hardly ever happens when I watch a movie. I need to see The Social Network when it comes out on DVD. Seriously. I really want to see Black Swan, and hopefully it's still in theaters when I go back to CMU. That is literally the closest theater that has it, and I've heard nothing but praise for it.

All respect to Doug, it does seem like most of his axe to grind with Easy A had to deal with political humor. Having not seen the movie, I can't say how bad it is or isn't, but I dunno. I'd rather judge a movie by if the story is any good, not of the politics offends me. If I judged everything on that basis, I would have walked out of South Park and never given Private Parts a chance and both are guilty pleasure movies for me.
I want to see Toy Story 3, but I got an awful feeling in my gut that it is going to hurt and hurt a LOT. Up wrecked me, much as I love it, and I'm a little wary of getting that emotional again.
Black Swan... I'm so torn on this movie because I'd like to see it because I like Portman and the story sounds interesting, but it just sounds a little too heavy for me. I have a thing about finger nail clippings anyway for another thing.
