Yeah, Tyson Kidd's prospects aren't looking good. A throwaway jab at Daniel Bryan followed by being squashed by Mark Henry, after having not appeared or been mentioned for a few weeks? That's usually nothing to be proud of as it is, but at least it'd fit a sleazy heel who relies on his bodyguard.
But then there's the fact that Jackson Andrews (still say they should have called him Jackson Ezekiel) wasn't named except on commentary and got squashed too. And by Mark Henry, king of big man jobbers.
"Fired" doesn't fit the song as well as "kicked", I'm afraid.

Worst choice of a bodyguard since Kevin Costner.

Worst choice of a bodyguard since Kevin Costner. Kevin Costner was the worst choice of a lot of things back in the day.

I could see Jackson and Kidd attacking Henry next week, leading to Bryan making the save (or maybe it will be the other way around with Henry coming to help Bryan), a tag match, then Kidd challenges Bryan for the belt.
Or Andrews really is terrible in the ring and having Henry squash him was the quickest way to take him out of the picture and ship him back to FCW.

Worst choice of a bodyguard since Kevin Costner. He makes Bam Neely look competent.

If he sucks in the ring or isn't ready, why even put him on television?
I don't get that logic
Don't bring guys up that aren't ready, blame them for not getting over with no build up or hype, and then fire them. That makes no sense.

That's legit all I've been able to gather since he's been on television.

What a terrible "showcase" of a new duo.
Kidd loses to Mark Henry, who's the big jolly jobber these days pretty much.
To make matters worse, his bodyguard just loses any and all "big man monster" aura in his first real face to face confrontation with anybody, by getting his ass kicked by Mark Henry.
Nothing about that match/segment made any sense whatsoever.
To me, it looked like them saying, yeah so we made a mistake with these guys and this is us writing them off, so they aren't important and ignore the fact we talked them up for a few weeks and carry on with your lives.

You know who could have been used as a bodyguard for Kidd?
Oh, I dunno, how about VANCE ARCHER.
Why bring up some crappy dude when you've already got a perfectly decent tall guy on the main roster?

I agree though, it really makes no sense to bring up someone from FCW to play bodyguard, when you've got a few guys stuck in limbo who're far more intimating than Tyson Kidd. Especially if you're just going to job them both out anyway.

On a side note, Bryan's reaction when Kidd said he would be US Champ was the exact same reaction I had while watching at home. A literal LOL.

Kidd is growing in his hair, finally. I am guessing he was told to, in order to mature his image. He'll stick around; for now, he's not on Superstars, at least.
I think that was the end of Andrews, though, and can only hope that Kidd has a veritable revolving door of incompetent bodyguards a la Murphy Brown secretaries.

I thought it was hilarious, especially coming immediately after a backstage segment that suggested Tyson was going to be pushed into a feud against Bryan.
Mark needs a solid win now and then to keep at least a bit of credibility. He's certainly earned it. Good for him getting to squash a couple of undercard nobodies.

Yeah, it was odd.
I think Tyson is going to go places though. Good wrestler and has suddenly developed ability on the mic since turning heel.
