A buddy of mine is starting to collect them. He was able to pick up the ECW World title signed by about 10 guys, ECW TV title signed by Lynn, RVD, Sabu, Franchise, the WWE Spinner, and the Attitude Era Heavyweight. He wants to own every major World title there is for sale. I see nothing wrong for somebody who is a collector. The guys who wear every belt they have, however, I find to be kinda stupid.

The ones who carry around 3 or more belts at a show is taking it too far. Those who do that are just proving they are the Undisputed Champions of Dorkiness.

The bigger question is...would you buy personalized nameplates for belts that have them?

I got a replica of the spinner belt for $100 WWE was selling at a meet & greet. I was like should I should I oh what the hell I will. I really want the attitude era WWF title one that has WWF on it too I cant settle for it having WWE on it. Eventually I plan on getting the former TNA title. To the OP where did you get it from to get 40% off? WWEshop. About a week or so ago they had their title belts for 15% off, plus they had a coupon code for another 25% off with no restrictions on anything. So I just took full advantage. To the poster who wants the big ECW silver belt, its on sale here. wrestlingsuperstore.com/ecw2008version3dheavyweightchampionshipadultsizereplicabeltpre-orderformidjanuary.aspxTo anyone who wants a super authentic winged eagle made by Reggie Parks himself, and has money to burn in spades, you can get this. lol wrestlingsuperstore.com/wwewingedeagleheavyweightrealbelt.aspxWow, just wow!

has anyone ever bought one of those mini replica belts? How small are they? Smaller than a Kids replica that you'd find in the stores? I'd like one for my desk.

I'm not sure, but I'd guess they'd be about watch size or somewhat larger.

Are the plates made the same? I have held a kids replica and I did not like it and I am heavily considering going all out on the WHC big replica

Take mine to any WWF event I attend...plus photo ops with WWF superstars. In fact, first timke I met Matt Striker, who was admiring my belt & said, "Man, this is the closest I'll ever get to holding the World Championship." So I handed it to him & said, "Here, you can hold it for the picture." Notice how I don't let go of it & hold it with him for fear of him running off with it!

lol Matt Striker is such a loser. Nice shirt, btw. here's a pic of my friend & I before a show back in '04. Both belts are his, but man I love the big gold belt so much.

I considered getting one of the wal-mart style toy replicas one year for my Fantasy Football league. Have a league going with some of my friends since high school (17th season this year, I believe), and wanted to walk into the draft the year after I finally won the big one, carrying the Big Gold Belt on my shoulder. Alas, I didn't get around to it and wound up not even going to the draft in person.

I have a Kids WCW Cruiserweight ($30 insane deal, too bad it is horrible, the simulated leather sucks) Adult size TV Title ($100 insane deal, awesome belt) Kids Rated R Spinner ($120 Awesome deal sweet ass belt, love Edge) Andre The Giant Replica late 80's title. f***ING HUGEEEEE. This belt is amazing and soo damn big.
I was going to take the Andre the Giant belt to Wrestlemania. (Shutup, I know I will look like the biggest douchebag in the world, but who cares... =D)

If you're a fan, and if you love wrestling, spending a lot of money on a nice replica belt, displaying it around the house and occasionally trying it on is, in my opinion, perfectly normal. It's a nice collector's item, I think I'll buy one someday when I have the cash.
Seeing people wearing the belt in public (yes, that includes wrestling shows), I find that a bit strange. When the guy or girl wearing it looks like he/she couldn't win a brawl against Stephen Hawking, well, then it gets ridiculous.
