No, this isn't a Goldberg thread. As we've seen, WWE's been having mixed results with independent and international talent, to different degrees of success. Daniel Bryan(Arguable success), Kaval(Failure), Alberto Del Rio(Success so far), and Yoshi Tatsu(somewhere in between), and Seth Rollins(Yet to be determined). My question is, in an indy scene ripe for the picking, who's next?

Dan Bryan has arguable success? Who's the last guy he lost to?
And at the beginning of the year i would have said Claudio and or Hero but i don't know now. They are every where on the indie scene. I can't imagine they aren't making major bank working where they want. So unless they get an incredibly lucrative deal i don't see them moving. But i do see Kenny King moving on soon. That kid was made for the WWE.

Good call on Kenny King. I actually didn't think about him, but yeah, he's a Tough Enough alumn, and he seems custom built for WWE. Actually, thinking about it, I'm gonna add a poll now.

Austin Aries and Roderick Strong are the only ones of these guys I know anything about, and I care nothing about Strong while Aries I only remember for The Austin Starr and the way TNA screwed him over.

Chris Hero could work as a WWE star.

Chris Hero could work as a WWE star. I made a thread about this recently. Yes, I think the guy is ready. He`s gotten in much better shape and looks a lot less like an indy wrestler. My only problem is the hair looks so ugly IMHO. Claudio should have already been in WWE. Kenny King is great. Austin Aries oozes heel charisma.

I picked King, The Kings of Wrestling, and A Double. All guys I love and hope to see on the big stage one day. Especially Kenny King though. Love that guy.

I doubt Claudio is interested in coming back considering how the last time they tried to sign him turn out. I could be wrong though.

As much as I'd like to say UMB or Chuck Taylor I don't think the WWE would be interested in them...
But I could see the King of Wrestling getting offered a contract...

I wouldn't be surprised to see the WWE sign Kenny King and not even remember that he was on tough enough.
Johnny Ace:"You're a hell of a talent, kid. I'm sorry we didn't come after you sooner!"
Kenny King:"Actually, I was on Tough Enough before and you let me go."
Johnny Ace:"...wanna see Kelly Kelly's tits?"

Dan Bryan has arguable success? Who's the last guy he lost to? Del Rio I think, after Bryan (in the match storyline) injured his arm. From what I've caught of Chris Hero, I'd like it to be him.

Dan Bryan has arguable success? Who's the last guy he lost to? Yeah, I got to wonder about that. Apparently he'll need to win the WWE title in a squash to be used right by the WWE.

I doubt Claudio is interested in coming back considering how the last time they tried to sign him turn out. I could be wrong though. For what it's worth every Claudio is asked he says he would give them another shot. Dan Bryan has arguable success? Who's the last guy he lost to? Del Rio I think, after Bryan (in the match storyline) injured his arm. Yeah, i think you're right. And before that Sheamus, but he's been on a huge tear since returning and i don't think he's lost on PPV. Dan Bryan has arguable success? Who's the last guy he lost to? Yeah, I got to wonder about that. Apparently he'll need to win the WWE title in a squash to be used right by the WWE. I think that's a little overboard. It's probably because from the start of NXT til his firing he didn't win much and constantly got shit talked. So i can understand how people would still hold that against the E. But they knew he'd be fine without crushing 7 other guys who don't have his abilities.

My question is, in an indy scene ripe for the picking, who's next? No shout out to Evan Bourne? Id hafto agree with the above with Kenny and Claudio. Although I also think Chucky would be good for the 'E as he has a good gimmick and personality as well as ring work, to fit into the company. Gunna hafto go with Claudio though, the guy is just too awesome to pass up on.

I picked Aries, Kimg, and Claudio because they seemed like the most likely ones. I'm still amazed WWE hasn't signed Claudio yet. However, my biggest wish is that they sign Awesome Kong. Please? ?
