Probably not for long? www.impactwrestling.com/Content.aspx?ID=35278www.impactwrestling.com/Content.aspx?ID=35280- Former WWE and ECW star Nunzio performed as a referee at last night's WWE live event in New York City at Madison Square Garden. Nunzio, who lives in the area and was backstage visiting, was asked by officials to help out as Charles Robinson was the only other referee that made it to the show due to the weather. WWE Hall of Famer Tito Santana returned last night, replacing Sgt. Slaughter in the Piper's Pit segment with Roddy Piper. Santana, who lives in New Jersey, was called in after Slaughter wasn't able to make it. The WWE Legends ended up getting into it with The Uso twins.

Yeah, sounds like they were just weather replacements.

Totally cool that the bridge wasn't burned for Nunzio, though. I didn't really think he brought a whole lot to the table, but at least the E still has his phone number.

I heard he was backstage visiting and was then asked. Sounds like they don't have his number...he was just around so they grabbed him.

They need to hire him back. I keep wanting to call him Little Guido, haha. Guido is an incredible wrestler, and even if they use him as a guy to put other people over, he's really good at that.

Nunzio, because of being a good skilled worker, would make a really good ref.

Nunzio, because of being a good skilled worker, would make a really good ref. It helps that he's not a very big guy. While you don't have to be on the smallish side to be a ref, it does help the wrestlers look bigger.
