JB: Here is your winner, Velvet Sky!
Tenay: And Velvet advances to the Queen of the Mountain match. West: How sweet would it be for Velvet to take the Women's title from the women who injured her? Tenay: And not to mention Angelina Love will be in the match too. West: Oh man, I can't wait for that.
THIS IS IT, MAN!
I thought Sacrifice was it. And what is it, exactly?
It's...oh, I see what you're goin' for, there. Not doing it.
Why not? That's a pretty good song.
Sure it is. You just keep telling yourself that. You go right ahead and worry about song lyrics while I worry about being in the ring with a giant crazy person. That's all Abyss is. I don't give a damn that he's a former World Champion, I don't give a damn that he's The Monster, and I don't give a damn that he's one of the most destructive guys to ever set foot in the ring. Because Abyss hasn't ever been in the ring with a guy like Top Gun Phil Shatter. And tonight, Abyss is gonna become...
Next, in a long, LONG line of guys who kick yo' ass to kingdom come and back.
*D'Angelo Dinero walks in, laughing to himself.*
Oh, look, Mike. It's Pope Daddy! Dang, almost forgot he worked here.
Yeah, yeah. Make jokes. So Pope's been on the down low, lately. Better than losing week in, week out, right?
HEY, I BEAT...
You beat some nobody. Some random dude no one's ever heard of that'll probably be gone in a month with no fanfare at all. Talk about wins when you're rackin' up wins like Pope did. Pope's beat everybody in this company worth beating. You? You still ain't got that big win yet, man. Every single week you come out here saying TONIGHT'S MAH NIGHT, and you still can't get it done. And let's be real, tonight probably won't be different.
Doesn't mean I'm just gonna roll over and LET that big freak take me down.
See, there's your problem, kid. Actin' like attitude gets you a damn thing. You act like that, and all you are is a guy who's okay with losing. You wanna get to the top, that ain't gonna get you shit.
Well, obviously.
Where the hell are you going with this?
Oh, Pope ain't goin' nowhere. Pope's just callin' things like they are, "Top Gun". Top Gun. Sure. More like Pop Gun.
...I don't get it.
Me, neither.
Cause all you are is an annoying little noise lookin' kinda like the real thing.
*Shatter lunges at Dinero, Mikael Judas holding him back.*
Easy, easy, you've got a match to worry about. No reason to go starting a fight now.
Listen to the big man, Pop Gun. All Pope's doin' is stating the cold hard facts.
*Shatter lunges at Dinero again, Judas again holding him back.*
YOU JUST WAIT, JACKASS! I'M PROVIN' YOU WRONG TONIGHT!! YOU AND EVERYBODY ELSE IN THE BACK, AND EVERYBODY IN THE ARENA!!! TOP GUN AIN'T NO JOKE, AND I'M SHOWIN' THAT TONIGHT!!!!!
'Course you are. Sure. Right. You know what, Pope wants to see that firsthand. I'll see you two at ringside. Seriously, I wanna see this ass-kicking firsthand.
*Dinero walks off, laughing his ass off.*
Arrogant little n-
NO.
I was gonna say nuisance.
Sure, you were.
Oh, don't try and make this a-
Just don't even say it, yeah? Besides, you've got way more important things to worry about. That guy hasn't even been on iMPACT in months. Just ignore him.
Uh-uh. He's gonna be right at ringside, no way I'm ignorin' him. Hell, he's a good ol' dose of motivation now, Mikey. He wants to be proven wrong, I'll prove him all kinds of wrong tonight.
ABYSS! YOU'RE DEAD TONIGHT, BIG MAN, YOU HEAR ME?!? YOU'RE F***IN' DEAD!!!
*Shatter angrily charges off to the ring.*
Huh. Maybe that's actually what he needed.

D'Angelo Dinero comes down to ringside.
JB: Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome "The Pope" D'Angelo Dinero!
JB: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from Hickory, North Carolina, weighing 247 pounds, "Top Gun" Phil Shatter!
JB: And his opponent, accompanied by Miss Valerie, weighing 350 pounds, "The Monster" Abyss!
West: I don't like this. How is this fair to the Top Gun? Tenay: Well as I understand it, he asked for this match. West: He asked for A match. Not this match. Tenay: If he wants to be in TNA then he has to be prepared for anything. You can't pick and choose your opponents.

Abyss gets Shatter round the throat and goes for a chokeslam. Dinero enters the ring and charages Abyss but runs right into a boot. While the ref is busy getting rid of Dinero, Shatter grabs a chair from ringside and smashes Abyss with it. Val tries to get ther referees attention while Shatter tosses the chair aside. Shatter then hits the PTSD!

JB: Here is your winner, "Top Gn" Phil Shatter!
Tenay: Thanks to the distraction from Dinero and a steel chair, Shatter gets the win. West: That was the important thing. That he got the win. Tenay: Yeah, thanks to Dinero and the chair. West: It's not the how, it's the why. Tenay: What the hell are you talking about?
*We cut to High Flight backstage.*
So what now Rob?
What do you mean?
You said you needed to pick up some wins in order to make you feel like you are world champion material only to lose to Crimson.
Yeah I know but that's just the way it goes sometimes, isn't it? Let's be honest here, I'm not going to win every single match that comes my way. As long as I keep batting above 500 I should be fine. Besides, tonight's not about me. You've got a ladder match with seven other guys.
Good thing I have some experience in this kind of match then.
Matt's in there too though.
Oh please, he's never won a singles ladder match on his own and it was his fault whenever we lost a tag team one.
Last time I checked, he didn't get speared twenty feet above the ring.
Last time I checked, he's not the ones that came back from it and put two dudes through a table with a Swanton.
That reminds me, you've also got the Guns in there.
Good. We never did get them back for Full Metal Mayhem. Besides, every man for himself in this one. They might work together to begin with but they'll stab each other in the back if they have to. Just you wait and see.
I'm amusing you think the Jacksons will do the same.
We both saw what Morgan did to them last week. He might not be the only one trying to pursue a singles career now.
Ok, fine. That just leaves Kazarian and Petey Williams.
Kaz hasn't really been with it as of late. Shame. The guy has potential but something's missing and he's not gonna find a quick fix, at least not tonight. Williams is an interesting one. Former world champion, probably the man who's taking this most seriously. He doesn't exactly seem like the type who's comfortable with ladders though.
You never know. This business is full of surprises.
Long as I become X Division Champion before you win the World Championship, we should be fine.
Hehe, we'll see man. We'll see. Go out there and do what you do best. Just try not to break yourself in half.
Bit of a contradiction there Rob.
You know what I mean.
Indeed I did. One way or another though, when the night's out, everybody will be talking about Jeff Hardy.
And when the time is right, everybody will be talking about
R!
V!
D!

JB: From Seattle, Washington, Madison Rayne!
JB: From Tokyo, Japan, Hamada!
JB: And from Richmond, Virginia, Mickie James!
Tenay: Well all these women have a beef with Daffney for one reason or another and they all would love a shot at her title. West: And another things these women have in common, none of them have been TNA Women's Champion. Tenay: Well they'll get the chance if they can win this match.

Tenay: And now we know, Daffney will defend her title against Katy Nikita Lee, Angelina Love, Velvet Sky and Mickie James in the first ever Queen of the Mountain match. West: Though it's just King of the Mounatin with a different name. Tenay: It's still the first time it's been done.
*Nick and Matt Jackson are backstage *
Hey bro, have you seen Morgan around anywhere?
Not since he hit both of us with a clothesline, no. Why do we care bro, good riddance to the big guy, he has been nothing but dead weight to Nick and Matt Jackson.
I don’t disagree, but I do think that if after last week, he held a grudge, we might end up with an unwelcome participant in the X Division ladder match.
You think he’d really try and sabotage our chances?
Yeah, but even without that we have quite a bit of talent to face off against in the match.
Yeah, Former Champions like Chris Sabin, Petey Williams, Kazarian. Guys like Alex Shelley, Matt Hardy, and Jeff Hardy, who haven’t, but are good enough in their own right.
Speaking of Alex Shelley, Jeff Hardy, Chris Sabin, the guys who have regular tag team partners, why aren’t they going after the tag team titles?
Same reason we aren’t, they just aren’t? I don’t know, but we have them beat, we can split this into the tag team camps, we have us and the Guns, we might be able to count on the Hardys working together, but they might not, so we have two units in this match, meaning we need to provide a united front if one of us is going to get that title shot, win, and get Morgan Jackson to have no excuse not to bow before the successful member of the team.
So our first goal is to kill all the other members of this ladder match, then climb the ladder and get the title shot.
But now that I think about it, we’re going to be facing one of the teams that put the Ladder Match on the map, the Hardys. Are we sure this is going to be simple?
Simple, bro, no, but it is straightforward, and that is better than most of our shots.

*Morgan Jackson is in the back and he has a program *
Interesting. Well, I guess I have my cue.
JB: The following contest is a ladder match to determine the #1 contender for the TNA X Division Championship!
JB: Introducing the participants, first, from Detroit, Michigan, weighing 215 pounds, Alex Shelley! And weighing 205 pounds, Chris Sabin!
JB: From Windsor, Ontario, Canada, weighing 179 pounds, Petey Williams!
JB: From Hesperia, California, weighing 172 pounds, Nick Jackson! And weighing 178 pounds, Matt Jackson!
JB: From Anaheim, California, weighing 215 pounds, Kazarian!
JB: From Cameron, North Carolina, weighing 236 pounds, Matt Hardy!
JB: And from Cameron, North Carolina, weighing 215 pounds, Jeff Hardy!
Tenay: We're about to find out which of these men will challenge Red for the X Division Championship. Climb the ladder, get the contract and you get a title shot as Slammiversary. West: And half the men in this match have been X Division champion. The question do they want it more or less than the men who've never held the gold? Tenay: I gotta believe all eight of these men want to be champion as badly as the next guy. They wouldn't be here otherwise.

Jeff hits the Twist of Fate on Kazarian. Matt then hits a legdrop off the ladder onto Kaz. Jeff responds by hitting the Swanton off another ladder. As Jeff tries to recover from this Petey Williams grabs Matt and hits the Canadian Destroyer!
Meanwhile the Gun set up a ladder each and begin to climb. the Jacksons climb the other side. The Jacksons and the Guns battle on top of the ladder. The Guns get the better of the exchange and send Nick falling to the mat. Sabin and Shelly then set up for a double suplex on on Matt but Matt counters it into a flipping neckbreaker on both Shelley and Sabin taking them both out. This leaves Nick Jackson to climb the ladder. Just as he's about to reach the contract Morgan Jackson enters the ring and pulls Nick off the ladder. Morgan Jackson then comes off the ropes and hits Nick with the Carbon Footprint!
While this is happening Jeff Hardy gets gets to his feet and climbs the ladder. Petey Williams climbs the other ladder. Petey battles Hardy on the top of the ladder and pushes jeff's ladder over. But the ladder bounces off the ropes and comes back into Petey's ladder which sends that ladder toppling over. Jeff steadies his own ladder and climbs up to grab the contract.
JB: Here is your winner, Jeff Hardy!
Tenay: What a match that was. West: Did you expect anything less? Tenay: Jeff Hardy will challenge for the X Division championship at Slammiversary. West: And with RVD still holding that world title shot, both of High Flight could end up with gold.
This is Brooke Adams and I’m here with Brutus Magnus. Brutus, before we begin, I have to ask…
Shark Boy and JKO aren’t around, are they?
Haha. Relax my dear. It’s just you and me.
Thank god.
Brutus, last week you made your intentions to regain the TNA World Championship known. Eric Bischoff announced that at Slammiversary, Samoa Joe will defend the title against AJ Styles, Mr. Anderson, Abyss, and yourself. Considering the fact that you have been out of the main event scene for over a year, do you feel like the odd man out?
Brooke, I reigned for twelve out of thirteen months as Champion. And tonight, I meet the man who took the title from me, AJ Styles.
AJ, it was only a matter of time before we met again. It seems like every few months, we end up crossing paths for one reason or another. But unlike past meetings, this is the first time that we are both pursuing the TNA World Championship.
AJ, I know I can beat you, so I have nothing to prove.
Then why did you ask for this match?
Because it’s about sending a message. I want to make sure Joe, Abyss, and Anderson see first hand what will happen at Slammiversary. I have beaten AJ Styles before.
But tonight, it will mean something.
Magnus walks off.
Strong words from Brut- oh no.
Rated ShaRKO walk up to Brooke.
Why? Just why?
…Cause.
*sigh* Fine.
Shark Boy sprays silly string in Brooke’s face and JKO blows an air horn.
Thanks Brooke!
Rated ShaRKO leaves.
…Back to ringside.
