I hate to nitpick but when the hell does 6 = 7?
"Miz beat Orton after 7 men beat him down!" (Really? Unless you're counting Miz, Nexus is only 6 people)
"Cena just beat Nexus in a 7 on 1 feud!" (Once again Nexus is 6 people)
And from the topic that made me make this thread: "Cena will bury 7 main-eventers!" (How does Cena 6 = 7 people)

And WrestleMania 25 is not the 25th Anniversary of Wrestlemania!

It's because seven's the key man. No one's beating burying six wrestlers. You wouldn't even spin the wheel and make the deal with six. Seven's the key man. Think about it. 7-Elevens. 7 dwarves. 7, man, that's the number. 7 chipmunks twirlin' on a branch, eatin' lots of sunflowers on my uncle's ranch. You know that old children's tale from the sea. It's like you're dreamin' about Nikki Bella when it's clearly Brie time, baby.

Also, #1 is not the worst possible number you can get in the Royal Rumble. #2 is equally bad.

This is the same company that took 78,000 fans at WrestleMania III and inflated it to 93,000. Evidently, because 78,000 didn't sound impressive enough.

Yeah, well seven eight nine! When reporters found out, they interviewed six. Six: "I'm afraid!"

Because it's "entertainment" or something.
And Cena's Power Level is Over 9000.

Although I can believe they would inflate the numbers, the Silverdome stats speak for themselves. Looking at pictures, I don't see any seat empty (of course it's easy to miss with that many people). Football games at the Silverdome allowed for a capacity of 80,311. WMIII also used the floor space, and I think that would allow for at least another 7-8,000 based on what I've seen in the pictures. I do believe the number is less than what they announced, but I would wager it was well over 78,000.

I recall reading somewhere that the 93,173 number is overinflated, and the number reported to the government on tax forms is 78,000 and odd change. Could be wrong though. A quick google search turned up nothing.
