GTS never connects like you think it will. This isn't Smackdown Vs. RAW. This is a knee to someones face we're talking about here.

Going to go with Snitsky, on the basis he's a good example of the fact Punk's never exactly been great with the move.

Punk's fault for not being Japanese.

I think that was the 1st time Cena got a GTS, so he and Punk might have done it like that on purpose.

Punk needs a finisher that he can perform smoother on the hosses of the WWE.

I saw nothing out of the ordinary about it. I never liked Punk's GTS because it's too slow (it has to be for it to be safe, but that eliminates the purpose of the move altogether, so why not scrap it?) but I may as well raise the point that Cena is pretty abysmal at selling things half the time. Not an affront to the guy, but still.

It just looked obviously blocked. That was the problem. It wasnt sloppy, its just that they protected it a little too much. I put it down to ring rust, Cena can sell moves well. He just cant sell injuries.

I don't think Punk has ever done a GTS that looked right.

That was all Punk's fault, not Cena's.

When in doubt and a guy's just come back from an injury, it's probably ring rust.

If I remember correctly, Punk's injury was to his hip, which he needs to use when performing a GTS. He's most likely nowhere near 100%

I always thought CM Punk was too small to be able to pull of the GTS right consistently.
