The same matches over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over. PUSH AND/OR FOCUS ON SOMEBODY ELSE FOR GOD'S SAKE ! The list of "who else to push" is down to Masters, Barretta, Hawkins, Big Zeke, and Tyler Reks.

They could try to give Kofi Kingston a main event push again. They started to with that feud with Orton, and he's crazy over (I believe he was getting larger pops than Mysterio last week.) Zigger and Swagger as well. But then that would kill the Midcard scene.

How many more times are we going to see that goddamn main event? And when will Del Rio and Kane actually win the ****ing thing. Smackdown sucks.

From what I understand Mysterio has a pretty huge ego backstage and seems to refuse putting anyone over. Probably explains why Del Rio hasn't went over on him.

Yep. During his contract dispute last year he didn't want to put over a wrestler he was feuding with. I can't remember which wrestler he was feuding with, however, he got the outcome changed so he didn't have to put him over so he could protect his character.
If I'm not mistaken I believe he had the intercontinental championship at the time. Don't hold me to that though. I just remember reading about it.

I really hope with the lack of stars/workers period on SD!, next week ADR/Rey get around 20/25 minutes for there match because most TV 2/3 Fall matches aren't that great. Just go back to the last one where it was only 8 minutes long.
Also Edge/Kane LMS? Why have a gimmick that makes a match between these 2 even slower then normal?
As for this weeks show, it doesn't look bad or anything. Hopefully the main got time.

What's with the repeated matches over and over on Smackdown? It's like WWE Universe Mode all over again.

He refused to job to Ziggler for like three PPV's straight or so. Then Rey Mysterio loses his belt to Wellness/Morrison, and Ziggler loses to Morrison every week on SD and a PPV after. Everyone on these boards screamed it was the end of Ziggler's career and how he was getting buried and how he would never win the IC belt...

That's when he had those fantastic matches with Dolph, even having back to back PPV matches. Everyone waited... and waited... and waited for when Dolph would eventually drop the strap to Ziggler. But in the end, out of nowhere, he dropped it to Morrison (in a fantastic match in it own right). It was said he refused to drop it to Ziggler for whatever dumb reason. It made it seem Dolph couldn't win the big one after that and it really hurt his credibility big time. He was an afterthought for the longest time after that until he started winning matches with the sleeper hold, and didn't get the belt for almost another year after that. But it was another example of Rey's ego making his feuds too one-sided. Remembering this reminds me how I miss the second version of the Smackdown Six and how great their matches were week after week.

Wow, Smackdown needs some new talent and fast. This card is simply repeating itself at this point. i was thinking the same thing. i'm getting sick of seeing Mysterio vs. Del Rio.

The Ziggler thing I'm willing to admit may have been WWE's choice (though plenty of evidence it wasn't), but Mysterio's ego has shown in other ways. Around that same time him being very vocal in interviews bitching about how he should get to do work with other companies when no one else can and how they shouldn't have been able to suspend him comes to mind - the guy seems to have a sense on entitlement.

I went to this show and it SUCKED. So disappointing. Felt like I was at a house show. A count out AND a referee stoppage? Two bogus finishes. Nothing really memorable happened match wise. But a few off the air stuff was good...
Edge originally came out w/o the belt, so they redid his entrance after he ran to the back to grab it.
Chris masters came out to early for his superstars match vs tyler reks, as they weren't finished changing the ropes. So they had to redo part of his entrance as well.
And during nxt, michael cole made a great reference to the fans being idiots, saying something along the lines of " you fans think you are so smart but you voted for kaval, how did that work out for you?".
Overall, very disappointing. Would rather hhas stayed home and watched football.

"* World Heavyweight Champion Edge & Rey Mysterio b. Kane & Alberto Del Rio. The finish saw Mysterio hit the 619 on Del Rio followed by a spear by Edge." So erm, what's Del Rio's record against Rey now? Must be something like 1-6 Would it actually hurt for the WWE to have Del Rio win a few matches? On a positve note, Dolph keepts the IC title. He's been an awesome champ, has made the belt mean something again. Now if only the WWE would push Baretta to feud with him for a bit.

Remembering this reminds me how I miss the second version of the Smackdown Six and how great their matches were week after week. Yep, that's it. I remembered that it was with Dolph last night as a matter fact. Not only did it hurt Dolph but it also hurt Punk, Jericho, and of course the latest victim of Rey's ego is Del Rio right now which is a shame. I can understand Rey's perspective if he was in his prime, putting on great matches, and was consistent in the ring. However, his knees are shot or getting there, and he's obviously nowhere near where he used to be. He either needs to hang it our or start putting people over. I think when they gave him the World Title out of sympathy made his head bigger too.
