Meh, if he wanted his release then his spot can go to someone who actually wants it. Until the WWE kills their spirit by having them tread water for an absolute age. What a waste. The guy has a ton of talent but the WWE proceeded to kill him dead with that losing streak and half hearted face turn.

When he got drafted to RAW after the streak they missed a good opportunity to at least try him out as a main eventer.Crowd went nuts when he interrupted Orton. But alas his name was not Cena or Hunter so he didn't.

Amazing. Earlier this year M.V.P was going toe to toe with The Miz on the microphone in a U.S. Title feud, and then Miz went on to become WWE Champion while M.V.P slid down the card and quit the company.

Whoa whoa whoa. What?
New theme? New attire (kind of)? That reaction he got at Survivor Series...?
This was out of nowhere. There had to have been a closet reason.

TNA run approaching. It'd be crazy to see Kennedy, MVP, Carlito, and Matt Hardy all in TNA to me for some reason. Only person missing from that "group" [don't try to figure out why this is a group] is Umaga. I'm surprised though. They gave him a new theme song and I thought they were giving him a renewed push...

All things considered, he was pushed a lot more than most get. Multiple title reigns, at least one shot at the big titles, and overall featured for more of his time there than not.

f***ing bulls***. genuinely pissed off with this one. Was always a company guy. Unless this was wellnessed, the WWE are idiots. Guy was getting some of the biggest reactions in the company the last few months Yep. Nothing says 'company guy' like someone who goes on Twitter and cries about not being pushed. A bit of joking banter with Chris Jericho is hardly "crying about not being pushed". Stop shitting on the guy.

The writing has been on the wall for quite a while. MVP will be missed and maybe he can have a career renaissance free from WWE.

Stop s***ting on the guy. Ive said it a few times, but Ill say it agin: I am a fan of his. Im not shitting on him. Im simply stating the facts. When you piss and moan about your job on Twitter or whatever, it makes you look like a baby.

Is there any proof he pissed and moaned? All I recall were some tongue in cheek comments with Jericho. Are we that petty that we consider that worthy of losing a job now?

Who will proect this ring now?
At least he has tie to catch The View, which apparently WWE employees are big fans of.

Despite the fact that his momentum really disappeared ages ago, he was over until his release. He was my favourite on the mic in the company. It's a shame that he's gone, despite the squandering of his gifts.

There was a hell of a lot more than that. He has been going off about not being pushed, being the first gone at SS and more for at least 2 months now with fans. He's been carrying on for about 3-4 months, if Im correct. And it isnt "petty". When you work for someone, then publicly complain about said job, it's unprofessional and is grounds for dismissal (which, BTW, he's saying they didnt fire him. So, digs at the company for firing him appear to be incorrect right now)

Sometimes his fans mentioned his booking and he re-tweeted what they said. That's "moaning"?
If you read most of his comments on twitter it wasn't him complaining about not getting pushed.

I really have to wonder what was going on backstage with MVP. 18 months ago, he looked like the most likely midcarder to move up to the main event scene. Then he floundered around spending more time putting over other guys and losing his momentum (as WWE tends to do with its midcarders when start getting big reactions, for no discernable reason), and then, after getting drafted to Smackdown, he became a persona non grata who'd barely even appear outside of Superstars and had no real angles for the rest of his tenure.
No, I'm not going to say he really did attack Triple H with a screwdriver or anything, but MVP sure did seem to fall from grace remarkably quickly, to the extent that I have to wonder if there were other factors involved here.
(Of course, Smackdown has been horrible for most of its roster all year, with vittually everyone spinning in place trading wins back and forth with the same guys with little in the way of real angles, to the extent that nearly all the brand's wrestlers feel like they're slowly stagnating away. At first I thought it was WWE giving up on MyNetwork, but the move to SyFy doesn't seem to have motivated the bookers to step their game up. Between MVP and Matt Hardy, it's not really surprising that guys, particularly longtime veterans, are getting fed up with this and leaving. I doubt they'll be the only ones.)

I liked MVP so am sad to see him go.
2 years ago i thought it was only a matter off time till he was Champ.
Sadly his move to Raw killed off any momentum he had.
Im trying to find the video off him where he was looking into the future with him as Champion and being inducted into the HOF during his feud with Ric Flair before the Rumble..No luck so far.
