AJ, it's sad though, because they threw RVD in their, and gave him the belt, had him crush everybody in a few months, probably wasn't the best for the company.

As a WWE fan, I enjoyed AJ's reign. Shows you the effect he had as a champion doesn't it?

Every one except for AJ's has sucked. His wasn't that great or memorable either to be quick honest, but in comparison he's leaps and bounds above the other two.

I really wish they kept AJ face for his reign. He had a ton of good heels he could had feuded with and his matches as face vs. Hardy or RVD (instead of what we got) would have been better.

ERIC YOUNG is the only answer.
Ugh - RVD's singlet .... c'mon Rob, its almost 2011 man.
As much crap as I give TNA, having only 4 World Champs all year long is actually pretty decent. One a quarter is a very safe way to do it.

Slim pickings, honestly, but I'm going with AJ, because I like him the best of the group, basically.

It's RVD and it's not really all that close. AJ did a nonsensical heel turn while champion, was belittled by the new management regime, etc. When RVD was champ it seemed like Impact became a much more wrestling oriented show and finally TNA had a credible champion that you could say "This guy could beat the WWE champ" in the old kayfabe match ups.

I just say a singlet with abs on it and thought - okay, what's next a singlet tuxedo for "fancy" affairs?

I guess RVD. None of them were really great but I'd say RVD because well user cabbageboy said it best. I'm really impressed with TNA that they only had three champions this year.

I went with Van Dam. AJ had a solid run as champ but I couldn't give him the nod because he worked heel during the longest strech of it and he just didn't really differentiate his spots from babyface to heel and in such his heel trun never really gained him the heat a heel champion should get. That said I will conceed that it is very difficult for a high flyer to change his style in the span of a week(from turn to the next TV taping). Go back and look at some of the guys who had been solid babyfaces then turned heel. Most will abandon spots that fans poped for. Cactus Jack has explained this in his books and on some WWE DVD's so I will use the same example he did. HHH. HHH had been a great anti-hero that fans got behind because of his raunchy DX stuff. he was/is a solid in ring technitian but when he turned he dropped the crotch chops, the double entandres(until character evolution and tweener status incorperated both styles). He started using sulking pissed off expressions and an angry demenor. His attack on the Rock during the build up to a casket match with UT was vicious and got him huge heat.
AJ did nothing close to that. He used the same spots he always had. the only differences I could find were his cocky demenor, his alliances with heels and his promos. then again until his heel turn he never really did very many long promos so I can't fairly base a comparison that way

If they actually do an angle where people begin recognizing EY as the real champion just because they are tired of Hardy and refuse to wrestle for his ugbelt, it could potentially be one favorite storylines in ages.
EY is the real champ, I refuse to accept Hardy
