As much as I fault TNA for things - it still fascinates me that Hulk Hogan, RVD, Jeff Hardy, Ric Flair and Anderson draws the exact same rating as AJ Styles, Robert Roode, James Storm, Christopher Daniels and Samoa Joe.
All ragging on TNA aside - its been a year and I think we can safely assume that "star power" alone is not enough to draw a larger crowd.
If you can create a compelling story and compelling action - you don't need "legends" to create, maintain and grow a fanbase.
Hopefully TNA will learn from this with future hirings.
If they bring in someone new - they need to actually establish their character and not just assume that being an alumni of another organization is enough.

Those guys you mentioned actually drew better. It's sad. Instead of getting all that money spent on the "stars", they could have used some of that money to keep around Daniels, Awesome Kong, Scott Steiner and others.

He said that you could bring anyone and it will only affect rating for the first month or two at best then it would be back to normal, he said if tna were on the road growing the product, it would improve.

Buy rates, merchandising, house shows and other revenue avenues are all up. There's been a big net gain in TNA's finances with Eric and Terry in the fold.

Yes, those 200-fan house shows are really helping our books.

Yes, those 200-fan house shows are really helping our books. They are making them easier to carry. Much less weight.
