That doesn't stop a character from becoming stale. It makes heel/face turns something stale. Personally I have no problem with the odd turn as long as it makes sense then its fine with me/ It isn't just the odd turn though. As documented in the other thread, they've had an average of a turn a week in 2010.

I think a lot of times a performer works better as a heel/face so a turn works there, but its hard to create a sense of character depth/continuity when it happens too much. Like Kaz's heel turn when he joined Fortune worked well for me. He's much better as a douche bag heel than a face.
