Spent my Halloween watching Psycho on the big screen at the local art house. Now I'm watching House of Wax on TMC. Today is Christmas for the classic horror fan.

After THE TINGLER (which was a lot of fun), I threw on my favorite Horror film of all time, CREEPSHOW! Still very enjoyable. Then I went to AMC's B-Movies site and watched WEREWOLVES ON WHEELS. Tedious and kind of annoying. Hopefully The Walking Dead will wash that horrible taste out of my mouth.

Hope everyone had a great Halloween. I stayed inside for my yearly triple feature of Psycho, Night of the Living Dead, and, of course, Halloween.

Ah, had a lengthy conversation about that last night, all because my brother's girlfriend hasn't seen it. Yep, HASN'T SEEN IT! If you would've saw the looks on me and my brother's faces, you would think somebody burnt down our house. I immediately went upstairs, got my copy of the DVD and gave it to her to borrow. Sadly, she forgot it. My mission in life is now to get her to watch the damn thing. My Halloween is over, by the way. Watched the premiere of The Walking Dead, loved it, then watched the Halloween documentary that the Biography Channel did while I started reading the Scott Pilgrim novels before I went to bed. Then, I actually had a Jason Voorhees related dream. Coincidence? I think not.

If she continually forgets to borrow it, screen it for her the next time she's over.

While we're on the topic of The Shining, seeing it on the big screen last night (in a packed theater, no less) was amazing! There was great atmosphere in the theater, with moments where, even after seeing it time and time again, I got chills. I bumped into my former English teacher and now good friend of mine, and we talked about the film and Kubrick's line of work afterwards. Overall, I had a great time!

I onced watched The Shining in class once. Think it was a humanities one, or maybe French class. We didn't see the whole thing, but we did get to the part of the bathtub, and everyone freaking out after. Funny moment. We also saw The Cell (which I thought sucked) and the original Amilyville Horror (was OK).
And, if anyone really cares, I spent my Halloween watching Bubba Hotep, American Psycho, and the Candlejack episode of Freakazoid! while running downstairs to help my mom give out candy whenever two or more people showed up at our door.
