For all the scheming and planning and strategy you do for the first 30 however many days of the game, once you reach this point this necklace is all that matters. This is the point in the game where allies realize who they can and can not beat at the end of the game, and this is where alliances self destruct and the play for the end game begins. Trust is null and void. You think you know what's going to happen at Tribal Council, and you think you know that you're going to walk back to camp short one certain person, but you never know it. Tonight, I know it. This is the ultimate life preserver. It won't be me leaving tonight, and that's an unbelievable amount of relief.

Oh, definitely. Back when the merger had just happened, I would play out the scenarios at each vote, and it would always be if X,Y, and Z turn, then I'll be in trouble. Now were down to four. If one person, any person who I'm not expecting to vote for me, does, I'm outta here. Basically, when anyone else gets that necklace placed around their neck, there becomes a stranglehold on my own.

maybe for some other people, but i feel alright about it. next tribal will be the most dangerous, most intense, and maybe even the most revealing of all for this game. yeah you want the necklace now, but having it at the next one is way more crucial.
