Who was Chiz, anyway? I recognize her from the Podcasts, but who was she and what did she do? She's Wiggly's wife who sometimes works at the merchandise table. I don't know if she works/worked in any other capacity for Chikara. |

Some other notes from the weekend.
-Donst eliminated Jigsaw and Icarus with the Inverted Chikara Special. Then he tried to do the same with Quack... but Quack countered it by using his free foot to loosen the grip! The Inverted Chikara Special DOES have a counter after all! Donst couldn't believe it.
-Icarus and STIGMA wore their Ichabod and Shane Storm masks respectively when entering for the Cibernetico. Icarus also wore his old Night Shift t-shirt and got cheered.
-Sweeney had the Tex-Arkana TV title with him.

My guess is for the Golden Dreams tag match is that Chuckie T will be added to the rudo side and Larry Sweeney will have his first CHIKARA match in forever on the technico side.

Finally getting around to watching Young Lions Cup from this year, and im surprised by the relatively poor turnout for Night One, given their great crowds over the shows prior to this event, and the fact that (if Im remembering this correctly) the 2009 YLC had a solid sized crowd as well.
Anyway, looking forward to a fun show. Love a lot of the talent involved.

Fire Ant & Max Boyer! have been added to the Golden Dreams match to complete the teams. Plus we have a new blog from the greatest YLC of all time Tim Donst... 10/28/2010: I'm hot off my Japanese debut with Osaka Pro Wrestling, and hit up the internet cafe to find out I'm being advertised in an 8-man tag match where I have to team up with lowlifes like Vin Gerard and STIGMA??!!? I don't want to team with these people. I don't belong in a match with these other has-beens. I am the greatest Young Lions Cup champion of all time, and I deserve better. I guess the silver lining here, is that I will - beyond a shred of doubt - show the world that I truly am the greatest. At the Dark Ciberknetico, I single-handedly defeated former YLC champs Jigsaw and Shane "STIGMA" Storm. Now, this upcoming elimination match will give me the chance to defeat the likes of Arik Cannon and the man that many call the greatest YLC champ, Hallowicked. Maybe after I dismantle the other team by myself, I'll eliminate the scrubs I have to side with, just to prove my point. When I crushed Player Dos back on January 31st, I did more than just claim a shiny Cup. I began my reign as the greatest Young Lions Cup champion of all time. No one could take that trophy from me. Not even Frightmare, the stuttering little freak that parades himself around like a champion now - not just in the U.S., but even here in Japan. The only singles championship CHIKARA has to offer is the Young Lions Cup. Now that my time as champion is in the history books, I guess I'll have to remind the world how phenomenally talented I am - by watching every other YLC champ I can get my hands count the lights or tap out to my superior skill.
