Whatever happened to him? By the way, I read that he is related to Jake "The Snake" Roberts. Is that true or is he related by blood to someone else?

He's also the brother of former WWF Women's Champion, Rockin' Robin.
He's currently serving a 10 year sentence for multiple DUI offenses that started in 2005, so he still has another 5 years.

Sam Houston's biggest mistake was going to the WWF. If he had stayed in the NWA he would have gotten some decent pushes, and got his name out there a little more. Instead he went to the WWF which at the time was packed full of talent, and he end up getting the 1987 version of creative having nothing for him so he just became a JTTS.

He wasn't in jail in 2008, because he was at the Fanfest.

He was over at first then they started to job him out, I'd have to say the lowest point of his career in the WWF was being pinned by The Conquistadors.

considering Grizzly wasn't there a majority of his kids life, I'm not susprised I've also read that he never told his kids wrestling was a work, and tried to make them think it was real for as long as possible.

After The Horsemen broke his arm, little ol Houston has not been the same.
