Dolph has been pretty good IC title Champ so far IMO. While some could find it is time for new champ, I feel they could do something special with his run. Having him not only hold title to go past HTM's record of IC title run, he could have numerous bouts with people from both brands. What do you all think?
And on similar vein, how about WHC + IC title match with Edge vs ZIggler in 2 Falls match? 1st Fall for IC title and 2nd fall for WHC title. Either in RR or EC. Both retain their title. Then in WM, have ZIggler go over Big Show. This also builds into Vickie's past.

I was kind of hoping with his series of matches with Daniel Bryan, they'd combine the two titles, making either Bryan or Ziggler the undisputed Intercontinental Champion.

I'd say only if he were allowed to defend it on both shows. It would get boring seeing him face the same people over and over on Smackdown.

To me, Dolph is french vanilla. He has a little "flavor", but to me, he's still bland as hell.
He's a decent wrestler, okay promo guy, and he's "Billy Gunn'd" himself, as chances are he won't be able to raise much higher than he is now.

With Kaval gone, I don't think we have to worry about any Warrior beating Ziggler...ha!

I as well hope to see he and Bryan vanquish several challengers leading up to Wrestlemania and a Unifying match between the two.
Though if they are going to keep one belt Id prefer it be the US title as Intercontinental just means world.

I say no, only because I want to see him competing for world titles next year.

I wouldn't mind but I don't see it happening.

Santino for sure. Had he held that title for the last year or so I don't think many people would have even noticed. I can't even name everyone else held the title since Santino last had it. Kingston and Ziggler is all I can think of off the top of my head.

Meh. I can't get excited about the guy. He's modestly decent at best.
I wouldn't mind another month or two, but there's no way he should break Honky's record.
The only guy honestly that could have done it would have been Santino. It would have been amazing, and I'm disappointed that WWE didn't have the followthrough to do it.

To give a perspective, that would mean him holding it until October, I believe.
I think it's way too early to say. Too much can change in that period of time.
The problem is that he has nobody to fight for it. He's got Zeke and Kofi as the only faces, and two faces aren't going to be enough to keep interesting feuds going until the draft. Turn Drew face and push Barreta as a believable contender, and I could see him holding out until then.
God, Smackdown's midcard sucks.

Tnrow in Cody Rhodes & build up Chris Masters & Curt Hawkins & it gives you a little more room.

So instead of a guy who's pretty good in the ring & on the mic you rather have had the record broken by a comedy wrestler?

Would make it more interesting, and that's a bunch of new feuds that've never been done before.

The thought of Ziggler being a face scares me. I just can't imagine him pulling it off right. He's such a natural heel that I don't think he'd even know how to act.

The time to break Honky's record was when Orton was doing his Legend Killer gimmick.
Anyone who breaks it now is just breaking it for the sake of breaking it and it would suck.
