And now my card for Capital Punishment 2011
Pre Show- Miz vs Jay Lethal. I signed Lethal as an undercard talent and he's tearing the house down at the moment.
R-Truth vs Santino- Truth is in the middle of his insanity at the moment and has decided that Santino was insulting him behind his back.
Natalya vs Beth vs Brie Bella vs Ayako Hamada vs Kharma vs Trish Stratus- One big womans showcase for the Divas title which Brie holds at the moment. Nattie turned on Beth in the weeks prior.
Ted DiBiase vs Shelton Benjamin- Ted won the IC title last week from Wade Barret following inteference from Orton and is making his first defence against Shelton.
The Corre vs Daniel Bryan & Chris Masters for the tag titles- The Corre won the titles last week following Big Show suffering an injury that sidelines him for two months. They are now defending the titles
Hype Promo- Orton vs Wade
Kane vs Sheamus in a First Blood Match- Sheamus brutalised Kane three weeks ago with a steel chair and Kane has been hunting him ever since.
Hype Promo- Del Rio vs Christian
Christian vs Del Rio- Del Rio prevented Christian from getting a rematch against Orton in a triple threat match and the two have been engaged in a war of words ever since.
Randy Orton vs Wade Barrett for the WHC
Hype Video- Cena vs Punk
CM Punk vs John Cena- Punk has turned RAW into anarchy in his hunt for the WWE Championship and Cena has stood in the WWEs defense.

Started a new game. Called up Kassius Ohno, neither he nor Cesaro were very over. Put them in a match against each other on Superstars, it gets 100% in match quality, and now both are instantly over 80 in overness.

I'm just over a year into my NWA: Knoxville game. After hitting Cult status and signing some talent to written deals, I renamed the company NWA: Southeastern to reflect the growth.
Lost a few more talents to larger companies because I couldn't sign them. I'm at Cult status, about 45% PI, and I'm only the 14th largest company or something. Business has been booming and a couple of new promotions have started. Several companies have made the jump to Cult, including Maryland Championship Wrestling and HWA.
Jersey All Pro have gone national, and somebody must be cooking the books because they've been losing money since I started the game and a year later they're still in business. If I had enough cash, I could buy them, but with the slow start I can't do it.

Just wrapped up the month of June. Not much major news when it comes to the end-of-month stuff:
-Chris Jericho's contract ran out and I didn't renew it, holding true to the Loser Leaves WWE stips from King of the Ring.
-Now have Damien Sandow, Seth Rollins, Bo Rotundo, Leo Kruger, Cameron Lynn and Audrey Marie all set to debut on the main roster. It would've been more but I terminated Erick Rowan's contract after I called him up because his stats sucked. The only real plan I have for new talent is bringing Bo Rotundo to NXT as a heel and planting the seeds for Husky Harris to turn heel and form a tag team. However, Husky just got injured and will be for another month. I'll probably bring the ladies to NXT as the only Divas I have there are Maxine, Kelly Kelly and Alicia Fox and her sister "Krissy" (Christina Crawford).
-Oh yeah, I had Christian cash in his Money In The Bank contract the Smackdown after King of the Ring right after Daniel Bryan had lost his rematch. So now the roles are reversed with Orton dropping the title to Christian after just a few days of holding it. Kinda feels good... ;D

Booked my July PPV, which was The Great American Bash for no particular reason. I kinda half-assed it, making it a PPV to get other wrestlers on that normally might not have made it, especially with having some high-profile matches for Summerslam. But it ended up decently:
-Pre-Show Match: Street Rat Pack (Sami Callihan and Dean Ambrose) d Curt Hawkins and Tyler Reks. Hawkins and Reks are claiming to be the toughest team in the entire WWE, despite failing to be promoted from NXT. Better match than what I was expecting. I'm pushing Sami and Dean hard and possibly will give them the tag titles soon, somehow. -Giant Bernard d Big Show. My monster vs monster feud but it's kinda coming off weak thus far. -WWE Tag Titles Match: Kofi Kingston/Dolph Ziggler d The Power of Funk (Mason Ryan and Brodus Clay). I mostly put this match on to fill time. I'm kinda getting tired of Kofi/Dolph as tag champs but most of my teams worthy of the titles are heels. Not sure how to transition from heel-to-heel. -No DQ Match for the Divas Title: AJ d Kharma. With D-Bry's help, of course. -Rey Mysterio/King Truth/William Regal d High Society (Cody Rhodes/Antonio Cesaro/Wade Barrett). Originally, I wanted this as a tag match with King Truth (who's super over in my game) teaming with former king Booker T but I didn't know who to put them against. Once I settled on High Society, I had to stick Rey in due to Rey and Cody's mini-program together. And I swapped out Booker with Regal because Regal is great. -Handicap Match: Kane/Mark Henry d John Cena. Cena's running buddy Sheamus was taken out by the rest of the Anti-HHH faction, ensuring he wouldn't be able to overcome the odds, especially once The Miz interfered. -World Title Match: Christian d Randy Orton. Via cheating to retain the title and continue the feud. -WWE Title Match: CM Punk d Alberto Del Rio. Via DQ due to interference from Ricardo to continue the feud.
In Other News: -Crowned Johnny Curtis as the first "NXT Big Thing" Champion after a long tournament, defeating Ezekiel Jackson in the Finals. But immediately, a debuting Damien Sandow ran out and stole the title belt. -Signed Ultramantis Black to a contract after realizing he left 3XW once Rick Bassman took control and seeing a bunch of talent get signed by other feds. Not quite sure what to do with him since I had originally signed him to Development but he was good enough to get to the main roster right away. Thinking about teaming him up with a ready-to-debut Seth Rollins as a sort-of face version of Sami and Dean's team, but not sure how that'll work out. -Raw is currently being run by an on-screen Board of Directors stable, consisting of Triple H, Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart. The Anti-HHH faction is still around, now consisting of Miz, John Laurinaitis, Mark Henry, Kane, Kevin Nash and David Otunga. On the last Raw, Nash attacked HBK and sent him to the hospital. -Theodore Long returned to Smackdown and accused GM Mick Foley of being in cahoots with Christian since cashing in Money In The Bank. Foley denies it but says Christian had every right to cash in the briefcase the way he did since it was no different than anyone else, Theodore just has some kind of beef against Christian. On the last Smackdown, I had Sami and Dean attack Foley, which may or may not be linked to Theodore Long.

Maybe have a 3 way dance between the current champs, whichever heel team you want to win the titles, and a random face team? I've found that multi-man matches are an nice way to get the title off of one heel and onto another.

I'm kinda getting tired of Kofi/Dolph as tag champs but most of my teams worthy of the titles are heels. Not sure how to transition from heel-to-heel. What I would do and have done in similar situations, for singles titles, is having the heel champions say they can beat anyone but are getting tired of beating the same guys, so they will give the company a certain amount of time, 3 months, to find someone who can beat them and if they cannot, they will retire with the belts. Then after a few weeks of championship matches against teams, established at first, heel teams and face teams, first time teams, another first time team of low card guys (I will use an example of Percy Watson and Yoshi Tatsu) challenges and a heel team that previously challenged and failed come in and cost the current champions the title. At the following PPV you have the two heel teams face off, the former champions lose and the team that cost them the belts become the default #1 contenders. They then make quick work of the new champions.

One of these days I'll update about my 2003 WWE and ROH scenarios, but I do have to ask: does anyone know where I can get a working January 2006 scenario?

I've found that multi-man matches are an nice way to get the title off of one heel and onto another. Originally, I had planned to do this with Kofi/Dolph, Power of Funk and Evan Bourne/Justin Gabriel. But on the Raw before the Bash, I had Kane/Mark Henry squash Bourne/Gabriel to build themselves as a monster threat against Cena. Plus Kofi/Dolph has gotten the better of Bourne/Gabriel, beginning from when Kofi turned heel. Power of Funk are basically a comedy team but can pull in decent numbers. Most of my other tag teams are either heel or on NXT. I actually have a small program with Hawkins and Reks demanding that the tag champs come to NXT since it's obvious they'll never get promoted, but I'm not gonna put the belts on them. I think the only other face team I have is the Usos, who I just promoted to Smackdown from NXT. Oh, and Santino/Yoshi, but they've kinda fallen off the radar.

Been running a DGUSA game for a year, and have managed to become slightly more popular than WWE. Currently have a three way brand split, with my brands called Revolution, Showdown, and Shimmer (as I bought them rather than have them go bankrupt). Shimmer actually does amazing against Impact on Thursdays, regularly beating them in the ratings.
Current feuds include NWA Champ Chris Hero and CIMA, with a few members of Blood Warriors taking issue withtheir leader not focusing on the Open The Dream Gate title. Speaking of which, heel Dream Gate champion Eddie Kingston has been on a tear, not only defending his title but maintaining leadership of Blood Ties (with Ricky Reyes and Joker). They've met opposition in the Strong Style Thugs (Low Ki, TJP, and Rocky Romero), with Reyes vs. Romero and Kingston vs. Ki booked for the next PPV.
On the Shimmer side of things, The Canadian Ninjas established themselves as the top team, though they have met opposition in the form of Pretty Bitchin' (Serena and Hamada). The Ninjas have lost in singles matches, but continue to hold onto the belts. Meanwhile, Triple Tails have set their sights on Shimmer champ Cheerleader Melissa, who has found backup in Melanie Crank (Christina Von Eerie) and Taylor Wilde. Daffney and MsChif are also established main eventers, hovering around the tag and Shimmer title scene.
And just for kicks, my champions.
Revolution NWA World Champion: Chris Hero Open The Competitive Gate: Akira Tozawa (as a precoursor to the eventual Blood Warriors vs. Mad Blankey feud) Open The Companion Gate Titles: Immortal (Austin Aries and Roderick Strong) Bold Future Champion: AR Fox
Shimmer Shimmer Champion: Cheerleader Melissa Shimmer Tag Team: The Canadian Ninjas
Showdown Open The Dream Gate: Eddie Kingston Open The Freedom Gate: Davey Richards Open The Twin Gates: Apollo 55 (Ryusuke Tagagachi & Prince Devitt) Open The Television Gate: Mark Briscoe (with Jay out, I gave Mark a shot. Plus, he's got some pretty damn good stats)

'92 WCW. Was able to steal Bret/Owen/HBK from WWF. Put Bret/Owen in a feud with Pillman/Austin until Austin injured himself, out for 9 months. Put HBK into a program with Diamond Studd, renamed Scott Hall. The idea is to form an nWo/DX hybrid with the them two and Vinnie Vegas down the line.
Meanwhile, Sting and Rude are TEARING IT UP in a US Title feud. Ric Flair is rejoining WCW after his contract expires with WWF in 3 months.
Cactus Jack and Vader are feuding over the World Title(Jack will win it at Starrcade in 2 months).
Favorite thing so far: In the very first segment I booked, Lex Luger tore a ligament and will be out for 9 months. The segment was a backstage attack that he instigated on Sting. So...when he comes back, I'm just gonna fire him.

Have been a huge fan of this series since i was like 13-14 years old.
I initially got EWR off another board played that heaps and wanted something deeper.
TEW 05 was out then so i paid approximately a hundred dollars for the disk, money order and game to be shipped.
I bought TEW 2010 in 2010 (Was released in 09 i believe) and 2 years later i am still playing it on the regular. For any of you umming and ahhing about possibly buying TEW 2010 you should definetly do it. One of the best wrestling games ever.
I will add some TEW stories in here when i get the chance if thats allowed.

End of the month time, this time for July.
-New Development graduates include Nick Rogers and Marcus Owens. Or, just Nick Rogers as I terminated Owens' contract. Interesting note, Rogers has like 90 in Charisma. -Brie Bella is also gone as I let her contract run out. Nikki's contract still has a few months left, for some reason. -Kevin Nash is retiring at the end of August. Kinda fitting as I've been using him a bit more but I doubt I'll give him a big send-off match considering he's a Non-Wrestler and I have Triple H vs Miz set for Summerslam as the feud ending match. -Development is beginning to get thinned out considering I had like six people get promoted last month. So I demoted Andy Levine back to Development because he sucks. I'd fire him but he's got a friendship relationship with Husky Harris. Also signed Archibald Peck (who says is ready for the main roster but I'd like to keep him down there for a bit), Daisuke Sekimoto, Karl Anderson, Nikki Roxx and Rachel Summerlyn to Development deals as well. -Interesting note: I did decide to debut Seth Rollins and Ultramantis Black as a team of "brothers" named Seth Black and Silas Black. Team name: None More Black. I check my internet reports and two of them are already crediting Seth as the "most talented performer" in the company. -Also, I brought back Sin Cara, building up to a match against Rey Mysterio at Summerslam.

I haven't played any of these games, but reading through this thread they seem cool. Which (preferably free) version should I get? Both EWR and TEW 2005 are free. EWR is signicantly simpler than TEW but TEW has a lot more options. I prefer to play EWR but that's just me. You can download EWR and TEW here (Click on the software tab under the "EWR" section on the side and download EWR 4.2 and you can download TEW by clicking on the index tab under the TEW 2005 section) EDIT: Forgot to mention that if you want more up-to-date data to play with, go to the link that I provided and click on the stat updates section. After downloading the data that you want, copy and paste that data over the data that is being used in your EWR file.

Nothing to do with me but going through the EWR forum, they have a section dedicated to people writing out diaries as if they were shows with varying amount of detail. Found one in particular that's really good that takes place from 8th January onwards where Jeff Hardy, Hogan, Sting and Bischoff all leave and the after effects of that: www.ewbattleground.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=87181Have to sign up to the forum to read and comment but this, and various other diaries on the forum are really good reads.
