Thank the Lord this will never happen.
For one thing: yeah, what a wildly intelligent idea to take a tag team that will either provide some intrigue for SD!'s titles or go to ECW and become an instant success.....and split them up to make Jamie (By God!) Noble a freaking plastic surgeon.
Second: I'm supposed to believe they would actually RE-HIRE B-Squared and D'lo when they could just as easily slap the gimmick on DSW/OVW prospects? Right.
And on a related sarcastic note, let me know when Orlando Jordan begins his bisexual gimmick. You know, the one that even HE didn't know about when someone asked him about it at a Q&A session?

Seriously.....wrestling has just gotten to the point of rediculousness anyway.
How sad is it, that we as fans not only are so used to crap like this that we don't really question it, but that we consider it a step up from other gimmicks?

I'm still hoping that Burchill gets a Guy Ritchie-style Cockney Gangster gimmick. At least it'd be (somewhat) believable!

Bring in Punk to go along with it, then bring in the Bull, and you've got a stable that works!

Anything with D'Lo in it is fine by me. I'm down with the Brown. You better recognize!D'Lo rules in whatever he does.

So, this gimmick would basically be a rip off of the "Nip/Tuck" storyline from this past season. Ok, that's dumb.

His theme song should be Weird Al Yankovic's 'Like a Surgeon'

So, this gimmick would basically be a rip off of the "Nip/Tuck" storyline from this past season. Ok, that's dumb. It's quite obvious that Paul Burchill is given the gimmicks based on what Stephanie watched on TV recently. She either watched Pirates of the Caribbean or saw a trailer for Part 2...BOOM, Paul Burchill's a pirate. She probably caught up with Nip/Tuck as she gets ready to have the kid...BOOM, Paul Burchill's a surgeon. Now is the time to pick what Steph's watching when Burchill's surgeon gimmick doesn't get over. I'm hoping for the evening news. "Good evening, I'm Paul Burchill and here are tonight's top doses of PAIN!!!!"

Well, one pirate gimmick doesn't mean Steph is giving him everything she sees on tv.
Also, once again I will not believe this until I see it.

^^^Exactly.
And until I see something credible on the gimmick getting tossed, I'm not believing THAT either.

If this is true then Burchill is the new Kane, a really big talented guy that gets TERRIBLE gimmicks. However if this is true then D'Lo and Bull's finisher will have to be called the "Lift and Stretch," Burchills will have to be known as "the Implant," and Noble's will have to be "the Liposuction Lock."

If this is true, we will know for sure that WWE is purposely trying to bury Smackdown. The funny thing is that they keep failing, since the dumbest gimmicks get over great. There will be fans in the crowd dressed in full surgeon costumes cheering this group on every night. And it will be so great.

Honestly, I don't think it's buring SD! as much as seeing the situation for what it is right now. SD! is preempted in several markets every week, and until the new CW network debuts, it's kinda just a lameduck show, so WWE is bringing the big names over to RAW. I'm sure that when CW launches, and SD! gets (hopefully) a more secure, profitable timeslot, they'll build it back up again. I believe that might also explain the lack of a post WM draft this year.
