Monday Mayhem 8/1/11 Time Warner Cable Arena Charlotte, NC
The show opens with a spotlight on Ric Flair standing in the center of the ring. Beside him, a shiny blue and gold belt sits in a glass case atop a pedestal. Flair grabs the mic… “Ladies and gentlemen, I’d like to welcome each and every one of you to the very first edition of All-Star Wrestling’s Monday Mayhem. As you already know, I am sixteen time world champion, “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair. Woo! Let’s cut right to the chase. I am here because I was given the task of amassing the best roster of any wrestling promotion anywhere, and I’m proud to say that I have brought the best talent on God’s green earth here to All-Star Wrestling. At ASW, we care about one thing and one thing only – bringing you the highest level wrestling…that’s right, we are a wrestling company, and if that doesn’t entertain you, you’ve come to the wrong place…the highest level wrestling that you will see anywhere in the world. And where better to start than here in my hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina?! Woo. I’m sure you’ve also noticed this beautiful piece of hardware sitting beside me. This is the ASW World Heavyweight Championship belt, and my first order of business is to find someone worthy enough to wear it. So, what better way than to do things how we used to do them and have ourselves a good, old-fashioned tournament? Now, as I said earlier, I have assembled the greatest roster this business has ever seen, including 5 former world champions from major organizations. Those 5 former world champions: “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles, “The Celtic Warrior” Sheamus, CM Punk, Chris Jericho, and of course, three time world champion and hall of famer…”The Heartbreak Kid” Shawn Michaels. Those 5 former champions will be joined by three more participants in a tournament to crown the first ever ASW World Heavyweight Champion at our very first pay-per-view, All-Star Showdown. The other three participants will have to earn their way into the tournament by winning a qualifying match. If I could get the lovely Christy Hemme to step into the ring and introduce the first two wrestlers, we’ll get the first qualifying match started right away…woo!”
Match #1: Championship Tournament Qualifying Match – Kofi Kingston vs. Goldust
Christy Hemme introduces both wrestlers, Kofi getting the face pop with Goldust playing the snobbish heel. The match begins with Kofi getting in some quick offense. He gets Goldust to the ground and drags him to the corner, he goes to the top rope and attempts a moonsault. Goldust rolls out of the way and takes the opportunity to inflict damage with stomps and submission moves aimed at Kofi’s legs. Goldust dominates until he attempts a suplex off the second rope. Kofi blocks the suplex and delivers strikes to the head, knocking Goldust of the second rope. Goldust lands on his feet, but Kofi comes off the top rope with a kick to the head. Goldust is obviously shaken when Kofi knocks him to the ground with a jumping clothesline off the top rope. Kofi then hits the Boom Drop. He pull Goldust to his feet, and Goldust hits a low blow on the way up. He hits a DDT on Kofi, goes for the pinfall and gets two count. Goldust pulls Kofi up angrily, Kofi sweeps his leg and rolls him up for a two count. Goldust kicks out and gets to his feet just in time for Kofi to hit Trouble in Paradise and score the pin. Winner: Kofi Kingston
Dusty Rhodes: Well Jesse Ventura, that sure was a great match and a great accomplishment for young Kofi Kingston. Jesse Ventura: Yeah, too bad he had to take your son out along the way, huh? Dusty: Of course I will always be in my son’s corner, Jesse, although I may not agree with all his actions. Kofi is a rising star, if you will, and there’s no shame in losing to a talented young man like Kofi Kingston. Jesse: Moving on from yet another Rhodes family failure, we are about to see some tag team action here on Monday Mayhem, but first, let’s go to our backstage correspondent Sunny, who is standing by with Chris Jericho.
Sunny: Thanks Jesse. Chris, I’m sure you heard Ric Flair’s announcement that you will get to compete for the championship in a tournament. How do you feel about that opportunity? Chris Jericho: I “get” to compete? I am offended that Ric Flair did not ask me to come out to the ring and hand me the championship belt, then bow down before me and kiss the feet of a man who surpassed him in this business several years ago. You see, this tournament is merely a formality. I am the best in the world at what I do, and I will prove that by defeating Shawn Michaels, CM Punk, Sheamus, or whoever else Ric Flair puts in front of me. I personally guarantee that at All-Star Showdown, I will be leaving with World Heavyweight Championship.
Match #2: Beer Money vs. The Usos Beer Money comes out to jeers from the crowd and wait in the ring for their opponents. The Usos appear at the entrance ramp and perform their Samoan ceremonial dance before making their way to the ring. Jimmy Uso starts things off with James Storm. Storm uses underhanded tactics like pulling Jimmy’s hair and gouging his eyes to gain the upper hand. Storm whips Jimmy into the turnbuckle and makes the tag to Roode. Storm holds Jimmy while Roode delivers punches to his midsection. They keep Jimmy cut off from his partner for several minutes, scoring a couple near falls. Jimmy Uso takes some punishment, but eventually is able to deliver a series of headbutts to Roode and get to his partner Jey. Jey comes in very fresh and clotheslines Roode over the top rope. Beer Money strategize on the outside for a few seconds before Roode gets back in the ring. Roode and Jey go back and forth for several minutes, until Uso hits a piledriver and goes for the cover. Storm interrupts the pin, prompting Jimmy to enter the ring. As the ref tries to get Jimmy out of the ring, Storm goes to the outside and throws Roode an empty beer bottle, and Roode clocks Jey over the head with it, sending him to the mat. As the ref turns around, Roode hits Uso with the Pay Off and gets the pin. Winner: Beer Money
***Commercial Break***
We cut back stage to Ric Flair at his desk. Shawn Michaels enters. Shawn: Hey Ric, have you thought about my proposition? Ric: Shawn, I have thought about it. I told you I would think about it, and I did. But I just can’t do it. The man hasn’t wrestled full time in what…ten years? I know you want to help out an old friend, Shawn, and I admire that, but it’s just too big of a risk. Shawn: Look, I understand your concern about that, Ric, but I can personally guarantee that this will be a good decision. When have I ever steered you wrong before? Ric: Listen, okay. I’ll give him a shot. Next week, I’ll give him a match on Mayhem. If he wins, we’ll sign him to a contract. That’s the best I can do. Shawn: Thanks, Ric. You won’t regret it.
Jesse: Well Dream, looks like we’re in for a real treat- another Rhodes in action. Dusty: That’s right Jesse the Body, my son Cody going one on one with John Morrison in another tournament qualifier. Jesse: In all seriousness Dusty, I think you could learn a few things from your sons. They don’t pander to these idiot fans, and they don’t let themselves be confined by silly things like rules. Dusty: You know I’m not proud of that, Jesse, but that being said, I wish Cody the best of luck tonight as he battles John Morrison.
Match 3: Championship Tournament Qualifying Match – Cody Rhodes vs. John Morrison
Cody Rhodes comes out to the ring and grabs a mic. He addresses the crowd: “As I stand here in Charlotte, North Carolina, I am disgusted by the fact that I am forced to perform for thousands of illiterate, hideous hillbillies. I am even more disgusted by the fact that I have to compete against an unjustifiably arrogant man, John Morrison, who, in his delusion, has dubbed himself the “Shaman of Sexy.” It is obvious that John Morrison has not bothered to look in the mirror lately, or he would realize that he is just as hideous as each and every one of you…” Morrison’s music hits and interrupts Cody. The match gets under way, and it is fast paced throughout with the advantage shifting back and forth. After about 10 minutes, Morrison has gained the upper hand with a corkscrew neckbreaker. Morrison grabs Rhodes and brings him to the corner and sets up Starship Pain. Rhodes moves, gets up and pushes Morrison into the referee, knocking the ref to the outside. Rhodes uses this opportunity to deliver a headbutt to Morrison with his mask, then hits Cross Rhodes as the ref climbs back in the ring to give the three count. Winner: Cody Rhodes
*** Commercial Break***
Cut backstage to Sunny with CM Punk. Sunny: I’m here with tournament participant and former world champion CM Punk? Punk, what did you think of the match we just saw? Punk: Well, I’m glad to see that egotistical airhead John Morrison fail to qualify for the tournament, but it doesn’t really matter who is in the tournament. It doesn’t matter who I face, because I am the best wrestler in the world. You know that, Ric Flair knows that, all the guys backstage know that, and soon, the world will know when I get my hand raised as ASW Champion at All-Star Showdown. Sunny: Well, it seems like the world won’t have to wait that long. I’ve just been informed that you have been booked in a match tonight. Our main event will feature you and Chris Jericho taking on AJ Styles and Shawn Michaels. Your thoughts on that? Punk: My thoughts are that it’s great that Ric Flair already realizes where the main event talent is on this roster. Shawn Michaels may obnoxiously refer to himself as “The Main Event,” but tonight, I will prove that there is only one real main event on this roster, and his name is CM Punk.
Match #4: Beth Phoenix vs. Miss Tessmacher Beth Phoenix gets some heel heat on her way to the ring. This match is not a squash, as Tessmacher gets some offense in, but Beth Phoenix dominates throughout before hitting the Glam Slam. Beth grabs a micL: “I think I have made it perfectly clear who the most dominant woman in wrestling is. Before this match, I talked to Ric Flair and was informed that the ASW Women’s Championship will also be up for grabs at All-Star Showdown. I told Ric Flair he may as well hand the title over to me now, because there is not a woman in the world, much less on this roster, that can beat me in the ring.” Just then, Mickie James’s music hits. She comes to the ring, mic in hand: “The most dominant woman in wrestling, huh? Well, as a seven time champion, I take exception with that. That’s why after you left Ric Flair’s office, I paid him a visit, and convinced him to make a match for All-Star Showdown. Me and you, one on one, for the ASW Women’s Championship.” Beth: “Well done, Mickie. Let me be the first to offer both congratulations and condolences. You see, I’m not just going to beat you at All-Star Showdown. I’m going to destroy you.” Mickie and Beth stare each other down for a few seconds. Beth shoves Mickie, but Mickie responds with a roundhouse kick and hits the tornado DDT. She walks to the back as Beth lays in the ring.
*** Commercial Break ***
Main Event: Shawn Michaels & AJ Styles vs. CM Punk & Chris Jericho
The match starts with Michaels and Jericho in the ring. They trade several high-impact moves. Finally, Michaels gains the upper hand by hitting an inverted atomic drop. Michaels applies the figure four, but CM Punk runs in to make the save by stomping on Michaels’s head. Jericho gets to his feet and tags in CM Punk. Punk continues to work the head of Shawn Michaels. He takes Shawn to the top rope and performs a superplex. Punk goes for the pin and gets a two count. He pulls Michaels to his feet, and goes to the top rope. He executes a cross body, but his momentum carries Michaels on top of him and Michaels rolls him up for a two count. Punk manages to kick out, but Michaels kips up and seems to have gotten a second wind. Punk swings wildly, but Michaels dodges the punches and strikes back with a series of three punches to Punk’s face. Punk is visibly shaken and Michaels executes a dropkick. Michaels and Punk both lay in the middle of the ring, each looking to tag their partner. Michaels reaches his corner and makes the tag to Styles, but Punk tags Jericho a split second afterward. Styles and Jericho go back and forth, but eventually Styles gains the upper hand. Styles knocks Jericho to the floor. Styles goes to the top rope and performs a moonsault onto Jericho. Punk quickly dropkicks Styles. The referee begins to count. Michaels runs around the ring to help Styles. By this time, Jericho has gotten to his feet. Michaels hits him with Sweet Chin Music about the same time Punk tosses Styles over the railing into the crowd. Michaels goes after Punk, but Punk has retrieved a pair of brass knuckles from his trunks unbeknownst to the referee. He hits Michaels knocking him out cold. As the referee reaches a count of eight, Punk rolls Jericho back into the ring. Styles lunges to make it back inside, but is counted out. Winner: CM Punk and Chris Jericho.
After the match, CM Punk celebrates while Jericho lays lifeless in the ring. Punk grabs a mic: “See, I told you people. I told you I would be victorious tonight. I am the greatest wrestler in the world. I am the main event, not Shawn Michaels. Look at him, he’s laying there motionless, unconscious, and probably in a comatose state because of me.” Styles climbs the turnbuckle behind CM Punk and hits a bulldog headlock. He then hits the Styles Clash and leaves CM Punk laying beside the still unconscious Jericho. As Styles celebrates with his back to the entrance, Sheamus runs down the ramp, and waits for Styles to turn around. As he does, Sheamus hits the Brogue Kick. He then picks up Styles and performs the High Cross. As the four main event participants lay incapacitated, Sheamus raises his arms in triumph and mimics a belt around his waist as the show goes off the air.

Well since it's technically Tuesday and I got my first show written I think I'll post it now.
Just a quick note: Just wanted to re-iterate that I'm using every wrestler on the BWF roster as if they were in their primes. (ex. Goldberg from 98-99, Sid & Vader from early 90's, etc....) Just wanted to make that point clear.
BWF Rage opens with a nice video package highlighting several BWF Superstars.
The Fink welcomes the live audience to the first episode of Rage and introduces the broadcast team of hall of famers Jerry "The King" Lawler and "Good Ole JR" Jim Ross which gets a positive reaction from the fans.
The Fink: At this time Wrestling fans would you allow me to welcome the owner of the Best Wrestling Federation, Mr. Bad Brad Bingham!
Bad Brad comes out to Bad to the Bone by George Thorogood. He gets in the ring with a mic in hand and begins to speak.
Brad: Welcome to the Best Wrestling Federation! Where our motto is We are not the World we are the best! And because I do own this company and have a lot of board meetings to go to and everything I will not be running the show instead I have hired a man who I think is just what this product needs and with out further adu let me introduce the General Manager of the Best Wrestling Federation, VINCE RUSSO!
Russo comes out and shakes hands with Brad as Brad leaves the ring and Russo begins to speak
Russo: Thank you Mr. Bingham it is an honor to work for you! I know there are some mixed feelings about me being in charge. Some of you blame me for the death of WCW! That is not true I am an innovator! Who do you think was responsible for the Attitude Era of the WWF? It was me! And what I did for the WWF I will do for BWF!
Mixed reaction for Mr. Russo.
That's ok you people can boo me I don't care but what I do care about is making this company live up to its name and become the Best Wrestling Federation!
Now as for our title situation. First the most prestigious title in the world! The BWF World Heavyweight Championship!
Now I have chosen 4 men who I think represent what a wrestler should be and they will compete in a little mini tournament tonight we have the first match between "The Viper" Randy Orton! And The Undertaker! The winner of that match will face the winner of next weeks match at Blaze of Glory and next weeks match will feature Sting and Diamond Dallas Page! I know some people in the back maybe upset that I didn't put them in the tournament but you see Brad put me in charge and I have the final say!
Next week we will determine who the Tag Team Champions will be as we have a huge Tag Team Battle Royal and the winning team becomes BWF Tag Team Champions!
The Women's Championship is next so I have decided to have a women's champion crowned tonight as Stacy Keibler takes on Candice Michelle, not in a normal wrestling match but a bikini contest the winner voted by the fans will become BWF Women's Champion!
As for the TV Championship each week the champion will have to defend the title against a random opponent! Before the show, backstage I did a random drawing of all the BWF talent who will be the first to compete for the TV Championship and the first name I drew out was Ted DiBiase Jr. and the second name, Kurt Angle! So tonight Kurt Angle takes on Ted DiBiase for the TV Championship. enjoy the show!
goes to commercial. When we get back the camera is panned on JR & The King.
JR: What a night this is going to be!
King: No kidding a bikini contest between Candice and Stacy! I think I just died and gone to heaven PUPPIES!
JR: sigh....I knew you would be most excited about that. In any event lets get to our first match on Rage!
The Fink: The following contest is for the Television Championship! First from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania weighing in at 240 pounds he is the only Olympic Gold Medalist in BWF History, Kurt Angle!
Kurt comes out to his TNA theme and TNA entrance with the flag draped over his back
The Fink: And his opponent from West Palm Beach, Florida! Weighing in at 235 pounds The Million Dollar Son Ted DiBiase Jr.
DiBiase comes out to priceless and he isn't alone Tank Abbott is coming out with him. DiBiase picks up a mic before entering the ring.
DiBiase: I think you all maybe wondering why Tank Abbott is out here with me! You see Vince Russo realizes how dangerous Tank can be! So for the safety of the other BWF superstars he will not allow Tank to wrestle but here's the priceless part, he is allowed to be my body guard and make sure no one interrupts my matches!
DiBiase drops the mic and enters the ring to start the match.
MATCH 1: TV Championship: Ted DiBiase Jr. VS Kurt Angle
Kurt starts off dominating the match doing a lot of quick takedowns to DiBiase. After some time Kurt goes for a German suplex but DiBiase counters it and takes the advantage! For several minutes DiBiase beats on Kurt but it doesn't last much longer as Kurt gets his second wind and begins a Triple German Suplex and does his usual routine and goes for the Angle Slam and hits it but as he gets DiBiase up the referee gets knocked down by DiBiase's foot. Angle goes for the cover but the ref is down so Tank enters the ring and starts throwing some hard punches on Kurt, gets him in the ground and pound position and just keeps giving him devastating blows until Kurt starts bleeding after he's done he picks up DiBiase's limp body and lays it on top of Kurt and wakes the referee up and the ref makes the 3 count as we go to The Fink for the official announcement.
The Fink: Your winner of this match and NEW! BWF TV Champion Ted DiBiase Jr.!
Abbott grabs the belt and picks up DiBiase and puts him on his shoulder and carries him to the back as medical staff arrives to check on Kurt Angle as we go to a commercial break
Rage comes back from commercial with paramedics in the ring attending to Kurt Angle.
JR: Folks this is a serious situation. Kurt Angle got brutally attacked by Tank Abbott during his match with Ted DiBiase Jr. and he looks in bad shape we will keep you updated on his condition as we receive any information.
[BACKSTAGE SEGMENT with Russo, DiBiase & Tank]
Russo: What the hell happened out there? I told you DiBiase I did not want Tank to get physically involved with your matches he was only suppose to make sure no one interfered.
DiBiase: Hey its not my fault Vince! I told Tank not to get involved but what can you do? Tank does what Tank wants to do.
Russo: Well I'm not going to strip you of the title but if he interferes in any of your matches again I will strip you of that title just be warned.
We go to the ring where Jerry Lawler is in the ring.
King: Ohhhhhh I have been looking forward to this moment! Ladies and Gentlemen this is our special Bikini Contest for the BWF Women's Championship! Lets bring the ladies out here and show off them puppies!
Candice enters first followed by Stacy! They both remove their robes and strut around the ring showing their stuff.
King: WOW! This is the greatest day of my life now fans cast your vote by cheering for your favorite diva....
before King can finish Ivory and Molly Holly come out and attack Stacy and Candice and start beating them down and Ivory takes the Women's Championship and smashes over Stacy's head then over Candice's. Then Molly takes two cans of spray paint and shakes them up and hands one to Ivory and they spell out Slut on the backs of Candice and Stacy
Ivory: I'm tired of this bull****! This is the reason why women's wrestling is such a joke now a days because of sluts like this! Me and Molly bust our ass for years! And for what to be great wrestlers! Then you have sluts like this who only get into this business so they can screw around with the boys in the back like a bunch of ring rats, and if you don't know what a ring rat is look it up!
Molly: Sorry to disappoint but there will not be a BWF Women's Championship match tonight as we are taking this belt with us and next week Mr. Russo you better give us what we want!
They leave the ring as we go to another commercial.
Rage comes back from break as The Fink is ready to introduce the next match.
The Fink: The following contest is a tag team match scheduled for one fall first at a total combined weight of 420 pounds from the motor city in Detroit, Michigan, Chris Sabin & Alex Shelley the Motor City Machine Guns!
The Machine guns come out to much fanfare!
And their opponents at a total combined weight of 560 pounds from Dudleyville, Bubba Ray and D-Von, The Dudley Boys!
Drop the bombshell plays as the crowd boos.
MATCH 2: The Dudley Boys VS The Motor City Machine Guns
The match stars with Shelley and Bubba. Shelley does quick attacks to Bubba trying to take the early advantage but Bubba catches Shelley and starts taking the advantage in the match making quick tags back and forth to D-Von. The match goes on for awhile with the Dudley's in control until Alex Shelley is able to make the hot tag to Chris Sabin. Sabin being the fresh man in the match starts going after D-Von and Bubba. Shelley comes to and joins Sabin they hit the Made in Detroit double team finisher on D-Von and manage to get the 3 count.
The Fink: Here are your winners The Motor City Machine Guns!
As The Guns are celebrating Vader & Sid come down the isle and start attacking the Guns giving both Powerbombs then they attack The Dudley's giving them powerbombs as well and Sid takes the mic.
Sid: What you are looking at right here is the most dominate team in Wrestling history! The Masters of the Powerbomb! Next week we will be in that battle royal and we will become the first BWF Tag Team Champions!
Vader: We fear no man! We feel no pain! We will destroy any team that gets in our way!
Vader & Sid leave the ring as we go backstage with Russo and Goldberg.
Goldberg: Russo! I don't like you and you don't like me! But I got to ask why I'm not in the tournament to crown a new BWF Champion!
Russo: Your right, Goldberg! I don't like you I never understood what the fans saw in you!
Your just bad clone of Stone Cold Steve Austin! Goldberg you don't deserve to be in this tournament!
if you want to prove yourself why don't you go out to the ring and show the world that you deserve to be here in BWF!
Goldberg: Russo! You got it and whoever my opponent is well THEIR NEXT!
Another commercial and when Rage returns The Fink is ready to announce the next match.
The Fink: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. First from Tulsa, Oklahoma weighing 290 pounds GOLDBERG!
Goldberg's music hits and the crowd goes crazy chanting doing the Goldberg Chant.
And his opponent from Brooklyn New York weighing in at 150 pounds Todd Sparks!
Todd comes out to generic music and the fans are wondering who this guys is.
MATCH 3: Goldberg VS Todd Sparks
Todd runs at Goldberg and tries to use his speed advantage which works for about 2 seconds then Goldberg grabs Todd by the chest and slams him down to the Mat. Sits him up and hits the Spear and goes for the Jackhammer and gets the 3 count.
The Fink: The winner of this match Goldberg!
Goldberg takes the mic from The Fink.
Goldberg: Is this the best you can do Russo? This is promotion is called The Best Wrestling Federation and you book me in a match with a 90 pound weakling who no body has ever heard of? This is a joke I demand to have a real challenge so next week Russo you better give me someone good or next week my opponent wont be the one who's next but YOU'LL BE NEXT!
We go to our final commercial break of the night before the main event between Randy Orton and The Undertaker. Back from break we go to The Fink to announce the main event.
The Fink: The following contest is our main event of the evening and it is scheduled for one fall and it is a tournament match to determine who will go to Blaze of Glory for the BWF Title match.
First from St. Louis, Missouri weighing in at 245 pounds, The Viper Randy Orton!
I hear voices in my head plays over the loud speaker as Orton enters the ring slowly.
And his opponent from Death Valley weighing 299 pounds The Undertaker!
The lights go out for a second and the gong hits, the lights come back on and Undertaker makes his way down the isle when he gets half way there he is attacked from behind by Masahiro Chono and The Great Muta with James Mitchell.
Undertaker tries to fight them off but Muta spits the green mist in Taker's face and blinds him as the two Japanese Legends start beating down on Undertaker they throw him in the ring and it looks like they are going to attack Orton but back off and Orton does his set up for the RKO by banging the mat as Undertaker slowly rises he hits the RKO and demands the ref ring the bell to start the match against his better judgment he does as he is asked and signals for the bell to ring as Orton goes for the pin but Taker kicks out so Orton waits and when Taker gets up hits another RKO and goes for the pin this time getting the three count. James Mitchell takes the microphone from The Fink and speaks into it.
Mitchell: Your winner of this match and the soon to be BWF Champion Randy Orton!
JR: BAH GAWD King! What is going on?
Mitchell: I'm sure your all wondering why I'm with Chono & Muta? And why we helped Randy Orton take out The Undertaker! It's because I had a vision for the perfect group a group more powerful then the four horsemen, more dangerous then the NWO and more deadly then D-X, so I took it upon myself to align with two of the greatest superstars from Japan Masahiro Chono and The Great Muta. And this group needed a leader someone who is a friend of the darkside, you probably think The Undertaker would of been my choice. But there is someone more evil then The Undertaker and that man is Randy Orton! A man who kicked Vince McMahon in the head and gave him a concussion! Which is something a lot of people have wanted to do for years but no one had the guts enough or was evil enough to do it. Randy Orton has killed many legends like Mick Foley and countless others! And when I approached Mr. Orton with this idea he loved it! At Blaze of Glory Randy Orton will be the BWF World Champion and next week Chono & Muta are going to become BWF Tag Team Champions! After Blaze of Glory we will rule the Wrestling World. And from this day forward our group will be known as the Unholy Army!
The Unholy Army stands tall in the ring celebrating Orton's victory
JR: This makes me sick! I can't believe Randy Orton would lower himself to associating with James Mitchell.
King: Calm down JR. Orton still has to go through either DDP or Sting to become the BWF Champion so let wait and see what happens.
JR: I guess your right King. For Jerry Lawler I'm Jim Ross saying see ya next week Boomer Sooner!
End of show logo appears as the screen fades to black.

My judging (with comments as needed):
STINGER:
OPENING SEGMENT AND MATCH #1: 6/10 for each.
MATCH #2: 7.5/10. Four teams in your tag division is a good start (Beer Money, Usos, New Age Outlaws, World's Greatest Tag Team).
MATCH #3: 6.5/10.
MATCH#4 AND BETH/MICKIE CONFRONTATION: 7/10 for each. Good way to emphasize Beth's dominance and build a good women's feud.
MAIN EVENT: 6/10.
COMMENTARY: 7/10.
OVERALL: 7/10. Good start, now let's see where it leads.
I'll review bradbingham's show tonight.

okay now for my review of stinger's show Ah the good old fashioned tournament I wonder who will win since all 8 could win it first match good match trying to get goldust winning with a low blow was good really getting some heat from the fans Kofi winning is good as well Chris Jericho's segment was good really in character for Jericho Tag team match another good match Beer money winning was the best idea there but another dirty finish though which is alright Shawn and Ric backststage good segment hm...I wonder who that person could be Rhodes vs Morrison the first heel moving on in the tournament but after another dirty finish i'm starting to see a pattern here another good interview not much to say here same as jericho Beth vs Miss.Tessmacher just a filler match here but I don't really like the idea of a women's match co main eventing espically since it was almost a squash match Beth vs Mickie at the ppv okay again not much to say there either main event very eventfull main event having a count out was the good choice would have gone for a double count out or double dq but that's just me and yet another dirty finish the heels winning were good though Sheamus destroying Styles wonder where you're going to go with that ovarall it was a good show but the dirty finishes and the co main event really killed this show 7/10

Valid point about the dirty finishes. My reasoning for them was to establish heel/face characters since this is the first show.

EWF: Wednesday Night Wrestling *The Show opens with a shot of a packed arena with EWF Owner Ryan Bergman standing in the ring with a spotlight on him*
Bergman: Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the first ever episode of Wednesday Night Wrestling, right here in Syracuse NY! I’m the owner of the EWF Ryan Bergman, and I am here to introduce the New General Manager of this company. Please welcome wrestling legend and all around great guy, Ricky Steamboat!
*Steamboat’s music plays as he walks down to the ring. He shakes hands with Bergman and grabs the mic as Bergman leaves the ring*
Steamboat: Thank you, Mr. Bergman and thank you Syracuse!
*Crowd pops*
Steamboat: I’m sure many of you are wondering what the EWF is all about. Well, we promise only one thing to you folks here in the arena and watching us live around the world. We promise the best bang for your buck in entertainment. We have the best wrestlers in the world in the back right now preparing to entertain you. We are the best of the best! We are the Elite Wrestling Federation!
*AWESOME! The crowd begins to boo as The Miz hits the stage*
Miz: Really Ricky? I mean Really? Perhaps you don’t know this, but I’m the future of this company. I’m the most must see champion in all of wrestling. I move the needle, I bring in the numbers, I sell the tickets and I should be the EWF World Champion. Ricky: Why hello Miz, happy to see you here. You see, I was just about to address the issue you bring up and I agree, you should be the EWF world champion Miz: Ok then, let’s make it official, where’s my belt? Ricky: I’m not done yet, many other guys in the back hold claims to that title. Guys like Kevin Steen! *crowd boos*, guys like Samoa Joe! *Crowd cheers*, Guys like Davey Richards! *crowd cheers* hell even guys like John Cena *mixed reaction* So Miz, what I’m come up with is a simple and fair idea for everyone who thinks they have a claim for this belt to prove it. At EWF’s first ever PPV Dare To Dream, we’re going to have an over-the-top battle royal and the last man standing is going to be the EWF world champion. Miz: Ricky, come on? I deserve this. I’ve beaten everyone, especially that Cena character. The title is mine! Ricky: Shame Miz, thought you’d learn about interrupting me after the first time. I almost thought about giving you the night off, but it looks like that isn’t going to happen. Better make your way down here, because your match is up… next!
*Miz looks distraught on the stage as the feed cuts to commerical*
*We come back with Miz already in the ring, awaiting his opponent*
Todd Grisham: Hello ladies and gentlemen, I’m Todd Grisham and along side me as always is Josh Matthews Josh: Great to be back with you at the desk Todd. Now, I wonder what kind of surprise Mr. Steamboat has in store for The Miz.
*A dragon’s roar is heard as Richie Steamboat makes his way to the ring
Cappetta: And Miz’s opponent, He is, the Young Dragon… Richie Steamboat!
Todd: Well, looks like the GM’s own son is going to be taking on Miz tonight. Josh: Yeah, but don’t count him out, while Richie might not have all the experience in the world, he has something you can’t teach, inate talent.
Match 1: Miz v. Richie Steamboat
Steamboat comes to the center of the ring looking to shake hands with Miz, who returns the request with a slap in the face. Steamboat rushes as Miz, confunding him with a quick paced moveset including armdrags and dropkicks. The Miz takes a powder outside the ring and Steamboat comes at him with the plancha that connects. He rolls Miz back into the ring to get a two count and prepares to go up top for the Crossbody but Miz catches him with a dropkick right to the ribs. After working over Steamboat on the ground he whips him into the corner and hits his clothesline. He decides to go to the top secend rope to try and hit and elbow but misses. The two battle back up to their feet and trade strikes. Steamboat gets the upperhand and goes for a German suplex, but Miz gets a switch and sets up Steamboat fot eh Skull-Crushing Finale, which he hits to pick up the win!
Cappetta: Ladies and Gentlemen, your winner, The Miz.
Todd: Miz picks up the win tonight, but what a great performance from Richie, huh Josh? Josh: I would say Todd, but he made that one little mistake and allowed Miz to get the win tonight.
*Miz continues to put the boots to Steamboat until John Cena runs out from the back and runs Miz off. Cena lifts Steamboat up and raises Steamboat’s hand and Miz slinks away up the ramp as we cut to commerical*
Becky Bayless: Backstage reporter Becky Bayless here with John Cena. John, why did you run out there to save Richie from The Miz? Cena: Well Becky, it’s like this. Miz wants to think that he’s the big guy on campus, the star athlete, the most popular dude in the world. Time for a reality check, you aren’t. Being a bully to a young guy like Richie isn’t cool Miz, and I’m not going to stand for that. This isn’t the old days Mizz, you’d don’t get free reing, and I’m going to make sure of that. I’m coming for ya, and at Dare to Dream, I’m going to be the first ever EWF champion. Becky: Well, you heard it here first fans, Cena’s coming for the gold!
*A video package begins with traditional Japanese music playing over it. Highlights of KENTA and Kota Ibushi begin playing before we get stills of the two men standin next to each other with the words “Next Week” We then go to ringside.*
Todd: Can’t wait to see two of the biggest names in Japan coming to America, but now it’s time for some 6-man tag action. Josh: That’s right Todd, tonight we are going to have 6 of the best wrestlers in the world, competing for the rights next week to compete to become the first ever Lord of The Dance. Todd: Now, for those of you who are wondering what that means, well, t’s a title that can only be contested for in three way dances, making the action fast and furious.
Cappetta: Ladies and gentlemen, the following is a 6-man tag match set for 1 fall. The winning team will move on to wrestle each other next week for the Lord of the Dance title!
Introducing first the team of Wade Barrett, Amazing Red, and Seth Rollins
Todd: Quite a mismash of personalities there Josh.
Josh: Yeah, but they have to work together to make it to next week
Cappetta: And their opponents, the team of Brian Kendrick, Eric Young, and Abyss!
Match 2: 6 man tag
The match starts out with Red and Kendrick trading flips and counters to the appreciation of the crowd. Kendrick tags in Abyss while Red tags in Rollins and the pace slows down considerably. Abyss uses his strength to get the upper hand over Rollins, who then tags in Barrett and the bare-knuckled fighter begins giving Abyss a taste of his own medicine. As Abyss begins to again get the upper hand an evil laugh is heard over the PA
Todd: Who the hell is that?
Sinn Bohdi walks out to ramp and begins chanting as Abyss gets a weird look in his eyes and leaves the ring, after tagging in Eric Young
Josh: Where is Abyss going, what does this mean?
Abyss leaves with Sinn and leaves his partners stranded. After fighting valiantly, EY is hit by Wasteland by Wade, which leads to Rollins nailing a Phoenix Splash leading to the victory.
Cappetta: Your winners Seth Rollins, Amazing Red, and Wade Barrett
The three men exchange tense glances
Josh: Well, those are the three men who will compete to become the first ever Lord of The Dance Todd: But what is the relationship between Sinn Bodhi and Abyss?
We go to commercial as the footage fades out on the three-way stare down.
When we come back we see Zack Ryder and Robbie E in the back in Mr. Steamboat’s Office
Zack: Are You Serious Bro? You are planning on holding a 4 corners match next week for the EWF tag team titles and you might have it without the Broskis taking place. Look, Robbie E and I may have never done much, but all we need is a chance. We’re better than those other teams, who cares about the Kings of Wrestling or those dude from Japan. Plus you have this mystery team. Ricky: Well Zack, you make a good point. You guys are talented and I think you should get a chance to earn your way into the match next week. You guys head out to the ring and wait for your opponents. Robbie: Well Dragon *gets in Steamboat’s face* I hope your guys are ready for me and my bro Zack to fist pump their face! Zack: Woo Woo Woo… Zack and Robbie: You know it!
*We cut back to ringside as Oh Radio hits the PA*
Cappetta: Ladies and Gentlemen, the following is a qualifying match for next week’s 4 corners match for the EWF Tag Team titles. Introducing first, hailing from Long Island and weighing in at a combined 457 pounds, Robbie E and Zack Ryder, The Broskis!
Josh: What an opportunity for the Broskis tonight Todd. They can punch their ticket to the 4 corners match next week to decide the first ever EWF tag team champions.
Todd: But what opponents do they have to face
*Ya’ll know what time it is!!*
Cappetta: And their opponents, the team of R-Truth and Xavier “Consequences” Creed!
Todd: Truth and Consequences, reunited right here on WNW!
Josh: These two haven’t teamed together in some time, but were world champions in another company, they should be able to get it right back together!
Match 3: Broskis v. Truth & Consequences
Creed and Robbie start the match trading holds until Creed gets the upper hand, and begins lying in with shots to Robbie, who ducks out of the ring to regroup with Zack. Robbie rolls back in and tags in Zack, which leads to R-Truth getting the tag from Creed. The two mean again trade holds until Truth gets Zack down with the spinning elbow strike. He drops down for a near fall. As Truth brings him back up to his feet Zack gives him a rake to the eye and gets back in his corner. The Broskis continue the assault on Truth, using every heelish tag team tactic in the book, the choke, the fake tag, the ref distraction. Robbie reenters the match and gets Truth in a headlock, which Truth nearly passes out in until he works his way up to his feet and elbows Robbie in the ribs, and then hits the Axe Kick to take both men down. Robbie crawls over to Zack while Truth makes the hot tag to Creed. Creed comes in with lefts and rights for Robbie and Zack. R-Truth throws Robbie out of the ring as they brawl while Creed continues to get the upper hand over. Robbie throws Truth into the steel steps and rolls back in only to be clotheslined over the top by Creed, who turns back around and is hit by a Rough Ryder! Zack rolls on top and gets the three!
Cappetta: Ladies and Gentlemen your winners, The Broskis!
Josh: Well, looks like The Broskis are going to set their shot at the EWF titles next week!
Video cuts a side by side shot of Kevin Steen and John Cena making their ways to the ring
Todd: Main event time coming up after the break. Mr. Wrestling Kevin Steen takes on John Cena!
*Commercial break*
We come back to an empty locker except for one person sitting back to camera.
X: It isn’t surprising that you see me here with no one else around me. I’ve said for years now that no one is my equal on this planet.
The person turns around and it’s Sara Del Ray
Sara: You see, I’ve been the best female wrestler on this planet for the past five years and I’ve been kept off TV because I don’t look the part. Well, now that I’m here I’m making sure to make my mark. At Dare to Dream I’m going to be in that battle royal as well as everyone else and I know I’m one of the best wrestlers, male or female in the world. I’m coming to prove myself and to prove to the world that great wrestling knows no gender. Get ready boys, The Death Ray is coming.
The camera fades back to ringside with Josh and Todd
Josh: Strong words from Death Ray, but it’s time for the main event of the evening!
Todd: Two superstars, only one winner!
Cappetta: Ladies and Gentlemen, this is the main event of the evening. Introducing first, from Marieville, Quebec, Canada Mr. Wrestling, Kevin Steen!
Josh: Look at the focus on Steen’s face
BRRRAA APPLEDOUGH!! The crowd goes bananas as John Cena steps out on the stage and gives his salute
Cappetta: And his opponent, from Westbury Massachusetts, John Cena!
Cena slides into the ring, poses for his fans and throws his shirt into the audience.
Todd: Cena is loved by this EWF crowd tonight Josh, but will he bet up for the task taking on Kevin Steen?
ME: Cena v. Steen
The two meet in the center of the ring and lock it up with Steen getting backed up by Cena into the corner. They break clean and lock up again. Cena again pushes Steen back and breaks clean, but Steen slaps Cena and gets in his face. Cena then decks Steen and sends him off the ropes and hits his hiptoss, forcing Steen out of the ring to recover. Steen rolls back in and ties up with Cena again before transitioning into a headlock takedown and applying a body scissors. Cena continues putting the pressure on Cena, whipping him hard into the corner and coming at him with a corner splash before nailing his standing somersault leg drop. He picks Cena up as he positions him for the Package Piledriver, but Cena back body drops him, hits 2 running shoulder blocks, the Protobomb and the 5 knuckle shuffle. He waits as Steen stumbles to his feet to hit the AA, but Steen elbows him in the head, disorienting him and hits a superkick out of nowhere! He drops down for the pin, but only gets 2! Steen, visibly frustrated goes to the red to complain as Cena rises to his feet and when Steen comes back, Cena lifts him up and nails Steen with the AA, covers and gets the 3!
Capetta: Ladies and gentlemen, your winner, John Cena!
Steen slinks away as Cena celebrates his victory in the ring
Josh: What a match, and what a win for John Cena, he’s sent a message tonight!
Todd: That’s right Josh, wait what is this?
Out of the crowd comes The Miz, who sneaks into the ring, grabs Cena, and nails him with a Skull-Crushing Finale!
Todd: What the hell is this about?
Miz grabs a mic
Miz: You’re finally right John, I can’t see you. I won’t be able to see you because after Dare to Dream I’m going to be at the top of the mountain as EWF champion, because I’m The Miz, and I’m… AWESOME!!

Stinger’s show:
Interesting choices for the three qualifiers. I like the mix of established and rising talent competing in the tournament.
I’m interested to see what happens with the Flair and Michaels segment backstage. If it’s who I think it has, there are some intriguing possibilities.
I like that you’re already building your tag team and women’s divisions right out of the box.
My only criticism is that there could have been a little more focus on the mid-card. I realize the World Championship has to take precedence, though.
I enjoyed the main event segment and I look forward to seeing what happens when the tournament gets underway.
Ratings:
Opening match: 6/10 Second match: 5/10 Third match: 6/10 Fourth match: 2/10, but I’m adding two points for the post-match segment, so 4/10 Main Event: 7/10 Overall Rating: 6/10
Not a bad start, man.
